The meeting was finally over. Catherine and her team had spent countless sleepless nights, endless revisions, and nerve-wracking moments leading up to this presentation. And now, it was done. Victor had approved their project, meaning the only thing left was the final presentation before the board. But for tonight, they had earned a break.
Nathan stretched his arms over his head as they stepped out of the conference room, his exhaustion evident in the slow way he moved. “If I don’t eat something soon, I swear I’m going to pass out,” he muttered.
Emily chuckled, rubbing her temples. “I second that. I think I’ve had more caffeine in the last three days than I have in my entire life.”
