The air in the surveillance room remained heavy, weighed down by the revelation. Lucius stood motionless, his hand still pressed against the desk where he had slammed it. His fingers curled into a fist, knuckles taut. The glow from the monitors illuminated his face, casting sharp shadows that only emphasized the storm raging in his eyes.
