CHAPTER ELEVEN “About the only thing in the fridge,” Brian said as they entered the apartment, “is a few beers and a jar of mayonnaise.” “No problem.” Riley crossed to the refrigerator and opened it. “I’m not really much of a drinker, but it's been a while since I've had a beer.” Brian was busy dialing the phone. Riley put his long-blaster, along with his sword, against the wall behind a chair and sat down to enjoy his beer.
