Chapter 3

Anderson pov I stood on the balcony, feeling the cool evening breeze sharply contrast with the fire raging inside me. My eyes narrowed as I caught the muffled sounds from upstairs—Aurora's sobs, her desperate pleas, and her futile attempts to fight against what was coming. My anger simmered, a steady heat that threatened to boil over. How could she dare to question my authority? How could she resist me? I pushed away from the balcony railing and entered the room with determined strides. The door slammed shut behind me, revealing Aurora, her face streaked with tears and her eyes swollen. "Enough," I growled, my voice low and threatening. "Your tears won't change a thing. You belong to me now, and you will obey." Aurora's eyes flashed with defiance, but I could sense the fear lurking beneath the surface. She knew better than to challenge me. "I refuse to do it," she spat, her voice shaking. "I won't be your wife." I let out a cold, humorless laugh. "You already are my wife, Aurora. You signed the papers. You are bound to me, body and soul." Her face drained of color, and she took a step back, as if trying to escape the harsh truth of her situation. I will lay down the rules you must follow, I said, my tone laced with cruelty. You will comply without question. You will be at my beck and call. You will wear what I dictate. You will consume what I instruct. And you will act as I command, without a moment's hesitation. Aurora's eyes widened in terror, and she instinctively stepped back, trying to create space between us. "And there's one more thing," I continued, lowering my voice to a threatening whisper. "My guard will establish a routine for you. You will adhere to it completely. You will be prepared for me whenever I desire." Aurora's complexion drained of color, and she stumbled backward as if I had struck her. "You're a monster," she managed to say, her voice quaking with fear. I grinned, a chilling, calculated grin. "I am your husband, Aurora. You will learn to submit to me, no matter the cost." I despise witnessing women act like cowards, especially this one, sobbing on the floor, too weak to wipe away the tears that have etched a map on her face. My gaze shifted to the hidden camera I had placed on the ceiling; she was oblivious to it. I would monitor her every action, even during her most private moments. As I looked at Aurora, her fragile figure crumpled on the floor, a wave of contempt washed over me. Her tears, her shaking, her complete vulnerability—it was all so... pitiful. A woman should embody strength and resilience, not be reduced to a whimpering, cowardly being. I scoffed, my lip curling in disdain. "You can't even be bothered to dry your tears," I mocked, my tone laced with scorn. "You're just lying there, a sobbing wreck. It's... pathetic." Aurora's eyes sparked with anger, but it was a feeble, pointless flicker. She understood she was ensnared, that there was no way out from me or the cage I had constructed for her. I looked up, my gaze darting to the hidden camera I had placed on the ceiling. It was small and unobtrusive, yet it would record every moment of Aurora's existence here. Every tear, every scream, every desperate cry for mercy. And I would relish it all, enjoying every second of her suffering. Aurora, of course, remained oblivious. She believed she was alone, that no one was observing. But I would always be there, always poised for her to falter, to err. And when that moment came... Oh, when it came, I would be ready. I would strike, like a predator sensing vulnerability in its prey. And Aurora would discover, oh, she would discover the true essence of terror. For now, though, I simply grinned, a chilling, calculated grin. "You'll learn to submit to me, Aurora," I murmured, my voice thick with malice. "You'll learn to satisfy me, to attend to my every desire. And if you fail... Well, let's just say I have methods for handling disobedient wives." Aurora's eyes widened, her face drained of color from fear. She realized, she realized that she was ensnared, that there was no escape from me, from this nightmare I had crafted for her. I let out a chilling laugh, devoid of any real joy. I was the ruler of this space, and Aurora was merely my puppet, a toy to be manipulated and discarded at my leisure. "Use the mattress, and don't you dare stain it with your pathetic tears," I growled, surveying the room. I sensed her rising from the floor, though I didn't turn; my instincts were heightened. Her gaze fixated on the alarm clock on the table, panic coursing through her. She realized she needed to grab my attention, to divert me from my cruel plans. In a burst of adrenaline, she seized the clock and threw it at me. The clock shattered on impact, the sound reverberating throughout the room. I turned sharply, my eyes filled with rage. "Do you dare challenge me?" I roared, my voice trembling with fury. She stood paralyzed, her eyes wide with terror. She understood she had crossed a line, awakening the beast within me. I advanced toward her, fists clenched tightly. "You will regret that insolence," I hissed, venom lacing my words. "You're a heartless monster," she retorted, her voice quaking with anger. "You lack empathy, compassion, or any trace of humanity." My fury simmered, a constant, threatening heat. I stepped closer, fists still clenched. "How dare you question who I am?" I hissed, my tone low and threatening. "You know nothing about me.” Aurora's expression twisted with disdain. "I see you're a skilled manipulator," she shot back, her tone laced with bitterness. "You exploit others for your own benefit, trampling them without a moment's hesitation." In an instant, I had her pressed against the wall, my grip tightening on her shoulders. "You'll regret your foolishness," I growled, my breath warm against her skin. Her eyes blazed with defiance as she fought against my hold. But I was too strong, too dominant. With a quick, brutal strike, I knocked her out, my fist colliding with her jaw, producing a sickening thud. Aurora's body went slack, her head drooping to one side as she hung in my grasp. I looked down at her, my chest rising and falling with fury, my heart racing in my ears.
