THIRD PERSON’S POV
Lilith trembles in fear moving backward and shaking her head continuously as Jacob takes a step closer to her, gaining the attention of the whole cafeteria having all eyes on the interaction going on between them. Jacob grins sadistically at the effect he has on Lilith while she shakes her head in fear trying to wake up from this nightmare. William notices his sister distraught and wonders why the presence of Jacob whom she has never met was having such effect on her. Grabbing his sister hand and swirling her around to face him
“Lilith what is wrong?” William shakes Lilith’s hand somehow trying to bring her out whatever trance she is in. The simple shake from William causes some calm to her as she notices her brother worried gaze. Jacob sees William hold on Lilith, he frowns with his eyes darkening in the process
“Take your filthy hands off her nerd” Jacob yelled shoveling Williams away from Lilith
“What is your problem? Can’t you see something is wrong with her? Instead of barking like a dog try and be useful or leave” clenching his fist although he is a 10 years 54.5 inches in height very skinny and needs a pair of glasses to see clearly compare to a 18 years old muscular 65.5 inches Jacob, no matter how he seem to dislike his sister at the moment he will protect her at all cost and hate her later. William and Jacob were glaring at each other with so much hate that they did not notice their commotion.
Jacob lips turns to a straight line stalking over to where William is with anger, grabbing William’s collar and lifting him up
“Are you deaf? I said stop barking like a dog and try to be useful for once in you miserable life” William sassed back, he knew he was playing with dangerous water but he also knew either way he will still end up drowning.
Jacob raises his clenched fist ready to punch William; William sees this and closes his eye surrendering to his fate.

Williams wince in pain from the sudden impact he got from landing on the floor but he did not feel any pain on his face which is weird because that was what Jacob was aiming for.
He looks up and sees his sister standing in front of him with a bruised fist burning rage and the audience with their mouth wide open and eyes in shock.
LILITH’S POV
Seeing Jacob face brings back so many horrible memories I buried a long time ago but seeing his face brings them back to the surface. The physical wounds he inflicted on me that healed but turned into scars but the scars did not fade away serving as an everyday reminder. The emotional and mental pain he caused that changed me and made my life a living hell that has no escape route, seeing him again I felt trapped back to square one.
I could barely hear what he was saying and it got worse when he smiled, the same way he does whenever he is torturing me. He is the devil’s incarnate. When he started walking towards me I could not breathe but only shiver and move back in fear. My demons are back, why now?
Each step he took towards me felt like he was taking my breath away and felt like I was falling deeper into darkness.
Until
“Lilith what is wrong?” Hearing my brother’s voice felt like a breath a fresh air, his voice brought me out of the darkness I was about to be succumbed to. He is my light in this dark world
All was going well until Jacob decided to interrupt. The fear turned into annoyance when he started bickering with my brother and behaving like he has some sort of ownership towards me.
I was proud that my brother could stand his ground but with the way he was talking I knew it will not end well.
My annoyance escalated into anger when I saw my brother being lifted up in the air about to be punched. Without thinking twice, moving close to Jacob grabbing the hand he wanted to punch my brother with, twisting it to his back which causes him to turn and face me.
His eyes widen in surprise when he saw it me, hitting him where the sun does not shine {pubic region} resulting in him groaning in pain and bending. In the process I gave him an uppercut {a punch delivered with an upwards motion and arm bent) grabbing his collar to bring him closer and punched him twice on the face which resulted to him falling on the floor groaning in more pain.
I could hear gasps but honestly I did not care one bit, standing protectively in front of my brother.
Looking over to everyone but with my eyes on no one in particular moving left and right
“Whoever touch my brother or dare to do anything stupid” pointing to where Jacob is on the floor.
“He should be an example” I said my eyes finally landing on Jacob’s.
SILENCE
“Who do the hell do you think you are?”
Searching for the person that spoke, Rachel cat walked over in front of me with a glare
“Who do you think you are to be barking orders around here and be beating people up?” Rachael poked my shoulders emphasizing on each word she uttered
Rolling my eyes not having time for Rachael, I will deal with her certainly but not now. Ignoring her and the presence of other students, I hurriedly rushed to my brother whose gaze was full of questions.
Helping my brother up, I linked our hands and starting walking away
“Hey I am talking to you, you dare walk away”
Rachel kept shouting while I walked away, when we reach outside the school’s cafeteria. Searching for an empty class and finally seeing one, sitting my brother down and bring out the lunch I bought for him not to long away giving it to him
“Lilith what happened? One minute you are scared and the next you are cold defending me, what happened to you?” William asked in a rush
Falling back into past memories and with a faraway look
“Always being poke at and on the receiving end. When the one person you care about is being threatened, anger replaces fear and you retaliate not for yourself but for that one person in order for them not to have the same fate you suffered and suffer from”
Unknowingly a tear slipped away with her hands shaking
