~OCEANO~ One evening, as the moon painted the outside a soft silver, I found Crow sitting in the backyard, staring off into the distance. "You okay?" I asked, stepping up beside him. Turning to look at me, the shadows of the night playing across his face, Crow shrugged, murmuring, "Just thinking." "Wanna talk about it?" I asked. Crow sighed, his eyes still focused on the horizon. "The future," he murmured. "What kind of life we can give them." I stepped closer, resting my hand on his arm. "We'll give them the best we can," I assured, my voice firm. He looked at me, his expression unreadable. "I hope so," he murmured.
