02. Maddie

"Mom Maddie doesn't want to wake up!"  Mindy screamed straight into her sisters ear to wake her stubborn a*s up and she removed the pillow from her face and looked at her, she was annoyed and angry at the same time. Mindy wasn't shook they all knew that Maddie was not a morning person, as a matter of fact she wasn't any time of the day type of person. She lived to hate her existence and that of other people starting with her little sister Mindy.  "Maddie you going to  be late for college"  her mothers voice sounded in the distance. Maddie got our of bed and started showering, while Mindy was in there preparing to go to school. The didn't mind sharing the bathroom because their morning routines completely consisted of different things.

Mindy was done showering she was just putting on her makeup and Maddie just put on some lotion, brushed her teeth and hair then wore a beanie over her head, she cleaned her glasses and she was out of the bathroom while Mindy was still putting on some finishing touches of her makeup. Maddie went down stairs to eat her breakfast and her mom was waiting on the end of the stair with her apron on and a great shining smile, she handed Maddie her black rose and said  "One More week to your birthday"  she was excited but Maddie was okay, she had celebrated her birthday for twenty years now and this one will the twenty first and nothing will change.  "By the way honey are you sure your favorite rose is still the dark rose?"  her mom asked of concern and she sighed  "mom you have been asking me this since the beginning of this month."  she placed the rose with the others on the vase, she was going to bind them as soon as her mom stopped handing them out.

"yeah not everything about your life has to be this gloomy right?"  she gave her mom a bored look  "shouldn't you be on your way to school now?"  her mom was a teacher, a great one at that and Maddie was always proud of that  "I'm waiting on Mindy."  she took off the apron  "Mindy!"  she yelled up the stairs and Mindy responded with  "I'll be down in a minute"  Sara sighed  "I swear I will kill this child"  she made a passing comment but there was no way Maddie missed that  "I can definitely help you with that"  Maddie stood up from her chair in a lightening speed, volunteering to kill her bratty sister.  "Maddie!"  her mom warned her and she shrugged then Mindy came down the stairs. She was looking absolutely beautiful in her school uniform although her skirt was like short and skimpy and she didn't button up her shirt exposing some cleavage and just hanging her school tie around her neck.

"I swear people would think that Maddie is the youngest compared to you"  her mom commented, she had given up long time ago to stop Mindy from dressing up like a sl*t because apparently according to her aspiring models can show off their great legs and other body parts.  "well nobody asked her to look like a tomboy"  she snarly said and Maddie threw a box of cereal straight towards her  "Maddie!"  her mom exclaimed  "if you're going to waste food make sure you don't throw it in the trash"  her mom added and Maddie giggled. Mindy was annoyed as she stormed off from the kitchen and went to the car. Sara grabbed her salad and smoothie and followed her. After eating Maddie cleared up and cleaned then she left for college.

"I thought you weren't coming in today bi*ch!"  that would Hannah screaming across the lecture room as soon as Maddie entered and the few people that were in there looked at her.  Maddie walked and sat next to her best friend  "you know you didn't have to scream like that right?"  Maddie looked at her and Hannah shook her head  "what do you mean? I hardly see you so whenever I do get to see you I will make other people aware of your existence"  Hannah smiled. She was the extroverted one while Maddie was kind of introverted. Hanna didn't believe her friend was an introvert, she knew that her friend was the most outgoing person ever but her confidence got attacked and now she is just an anti-social extrovert. Hannah was never going to give up trying to revive the Maddie she met and knew and got to love.

The lecture went very well same old, same old and they learned some interesting things and assessments were given with tight dead lines and students were pissed but what can we say, college is college. Maddie stayed behind after her class was dismissed like all those time that she does so that she can report her findings on the opportunity she had gained after being the top student in her entrepreneurial class.   "How are things at King Corporation?"  Mr Spencer asked and Maddie fished out her report then handed it to him  "It still hasn't changed I hate my boss sir"   Maddie replied, of course she was careful of how she spoke about her boss to certain people but Mr Spencer wasn't one of those people. Her and this fine middle aged man had a great relationship, the man of course didn't have favorites not even Maddie but he liked the fact that she was fearless and just dedicated to going on when it comes to life. Mr Spencer felt that it was too early for her to be feeling that way but he knew that sometimes life f**ks  up way too early so he let it slide. He wasn't even going to act all motivational toward her because man had life F**ked him up a couple of times too.

"well that's how I know you're perfect for this job, because it's actually not a great job until you hate your boss!"  he yelled at Maddie as she was exiting the lecture hall (Hey beautiful people don't hate your bosses)  Mr. Spencer wasn't recommending that.  "Your talks with him are getting more frequent"  Hannah told her as soon as she closed the door to the lecture hall and Maddie thought if she knew how long they had actually been going on she would lose it. "It's starting to seem like there is something fishy going on."  she was definitely fishing for some scraps  "are you secretly dating him?"  Hannah asked and Maddie looked at her with raised brows  "what?"  Hannah shrugged  "He is good looking even at his age"  Hannah added and said  "you definitely have daddy issues."  she nodded  "come on everybody has daddy issues."  Hannah commented and Maddie shook her head  "not me, my dad is dead."  Hannah looked at her  "so are you dating Mr Spencer?"  Hannah asked again and Maddie looked at her again  "don't worry I will keep it a secret if you tell me"  she promised and Maddie said "No."  

Hanna looked a bit confused  "No you're not dating him or no I-"  Maddie stopped her  "No I'm not dating-"  Maddie was also cut off by a voice behind her saying  "Dating? who are you dating?"  Maddie was already annoyed because she knew who it was. she slowly turned around  "Cee Jay?"  she looked at him with bored expression.  "I asked a question Maddie"  Cee Jay stood in all his glory with his minions  "what makes you think you're entitled to knowing my business?"  she asked him and he said  "because you can't be seen with just any man after dating my best buddy."  Maddie looked at him in confusion, in what world did what he said make sense?  "Are you okay?"  Maddie asked him and I mean she was seriously concerned but all he did was smirk and give the dumbest response Maddie knew  "Oh baby I'm not just okay I'm extremely FINE!"   he exclaimed as he put on his f**k boy face, I don't know how that looked but that's what Maddie called it.  "Ha..Ha"   Maddie was extremely bored and annoyed by this motherf**ker. This son of a bi*ch and I mean literally his mom was a bi*ch who later chose money over raising her own son. Any way that didn't matter because Cee Jay was what we called a womanizer and a f**k boy, hell he did more than that, he would chew women up and then spit them out later and although he was from a rich family all women seemed to want to spoil him and buy him stuff. He was the popular Dude with his squad that consisted of other douchebags.

Now this popular kid was standing in front of Maddie and annoying the sh*t out of her. Cee Jay handed his phone to one of his minions called Malcom  "here call Tyler and tell him little Maddie boo has a man."  She just got angry at the mention of Tyler's name. Tyler was the douchebag that dragged Maddie into this whole situation. I mean it started off as bullying while they were in high school but now that they have grown it's just called annoying and maybe emotional blackmail or abuse or whatever you want to call it. Although Maddie seemed only annoyed truth is what these douchebags were doing drained her emotionally and mentally, it gave her anxiety and panic attacks like no other and it was the one that shattered her liveliness that her best friend is solely trying to revive even though she wasn't the one who broke it. And maybe Hanna would have succeeded considering how long they have been friends but it didn't work out because she was also shuttered by the same Cee Jay.

Maddie was about to leave them be but Cee Jay held her back  "hey you can't leave Ty wants to see you."  he said and Maddie rolled her eyes and asked   "who said I wanted to see him?"  Cee Jay looked at her and said  "whoa you think I want to be here? I could be f**king some hot chick in my car right now"  that made Maddie puke in her mouth a little. She wondered if the reason why his name was Cee Jay was due to the fact that his parents foresaw that he was going to be an as*hole? Tyler arrived at the scene  "what's up Briggs?"   Tyler smoothly delivered the greeting and Maddie said  "Nothing much I just want to spit on you."  the boys got all giggly  "oh baby girl I have been waiting for you to actually spit while choking on my d**k!"   he smoothly exclaimed and the boys got all hyped up. Maddie was just there regretting her life choices   "you ready for that Briggs?"  Tyler asked getting closer to her and she pushed him  "don't flatter yourself and your crab infested d**k"   she actually spat on him but instead of saliva it was a punch line.

She quickly left the scene before those bastards do something that will land all of them in the dean's office. She went looking for Hannah because she had disappeared as soon as Cee Jay appeared, it was nothing personal except when it's personal considering Hannah hated Cee Jay for using her and then leaving her like that and for that very same reason the only time Hannah couldn't stand up for Maddie it was when Cee Jay was involved. Maddie didn't need her to stand up for her but it was actually always entertaining to watch Hannah Cupid curse at people for all the smallest and stupidest reasons ever.
