Chapter Twelve

Emily felt as though her whole world was spinning out of control. Katy rubbed her back while she was crying . "It's okay Emi , everything will be fine." Katy said trying to comfort her. " I'm happy , I really am , a baby is a blessing and I love Jason with my whole heart , I'm just scared . We're so young and we want to move away and start over. " She said and realized she overshared. Katy looked at her, Emily could see she was hurt. " You're moving , and you didn't tell me?" Katy asked Emily could hear the pain in her voice. "Katy we just started talking about it , I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I didn't want to hurt you" Emily tried to convince her. Katy looked down, what did she expect , she knew Emily was so happy with Jason she couldn't expect Emily to stay with her forever , even though she wished she could. " It's fine , I just wished you told me ." Katy said while wiping of the tears on her cheeks.

"What are you going to do? " Katy asked. " I need to tell Jason . He needs to know." Emily answered. She held the test tightly in her hands. She took her hand and held her stomach. There was a baby growing in her. The baby was a sign of their love for each other. She already loves the baby with all her heart. She gave Katy a hug and headed out the door to go to Jason. When she got to the kitchen she saw Melissa was in a panic. She put the test in her pocket . "What's wrong?" Emily said. "The boys went to look for Drake and his not around. I tried calling him but his phone went straight to voice mail , his phone never those that."

"I think everyone just needs to calm down , he is probably just out there taking a walk , we don't have to panic." Jason said calmly . Melissa cried "Something is seriously wrong , I can feel it ." she said while walking out the door to go look for Drake. Katy pulled Brandon's arm as a gesture for him and her also to go outside and look for Drake. Katy gave Emily a slight smile as they walked out.

Jason walked to Emily and placed his hand on her face. "Are you okay?" he asked while putting the hair hanging in her face behind her ear. She closed her eyes with his hand still on her cheek. "I need to tell you something . " she said , while putting her hand in her pocket reaching for the test. She took it out and gave it to him. He took it and looked down. He smiled. He looked at her. "Are you ...? " he started asking. She nodded as happy tears rolled down her cheeks. He picked her up in a hug and spinned her out of joy. "Emily I love you so much , I can't wait to start this new journey with you. " he got down on his knee , he lifted up her shirt while pulling her closer. He kissed her belly over and over. He stood up and wiped the tears from her cheeks

"Let's get married." he said while hugging her. She stepped away with out saying anything , she looked at him confused. He reached in his pocket and got out a little grey box. He took her hands in his. "You're not the only one keeping big surprises in your pocket . " he said while they both laughed through all the happy tears. "This isn't how I wanted to do this Em , I had this big plan on how to ask you but I think this is the perfect timing because you just gave me the best news ever. Emily I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and our child or children , how ever many you want to give me . " he said while touching her belly he looked in to her eyes as he got down on one knee and continued talking " so Emily would you make me the happiest man on the planet and marry me?" he asked.

She got down on her knees with him kissed him like she has never kissed him before and answered " Of course." she said through all her tears . He smiled and kissed her.

Their unplanned romantic moment got interrupted when out of no where there came a terrible scream came from outside.

It was Melissa.
