Alpha:

I watched as Tallia crawled to the edge of the bed. Her cleavage was hanging out, and I licked my lips. She had round size C breasts that bounced with every movement.

Xavier:

I woke up and replayed the events of last night. I would have never guessed that the new Alpha would be a female.

When I carried Alpha to her room I was surprised at how sweet she looked snuggled in my arms. A part of me didn’t want to let her go. It seemed natural to have her close.

I shook my head at the odd realization. I needed to stop thinking about her and go for a run. I always went at sunrise. The air is crisp and very few wolves are out at that time.

I put on some sweats and went to grab my shoes when I noticed her heels sitting by the door.

She left so quickly after her rude remark I didn’t get a chance to give them to her and I’m not sure I want to.

I glanced at the shoes again and an idea popped in my head. A mischievous grin spread across my face, as I grabbed her shoes and walked across the hall.

I rang the bell to Alpha’s room a few times, hoping to give her a rude awakening. She probably had a hangover, which made my revenge even better.

Their was no answer, so I pushed the button repeatedly until the door opened in a swift motion.

“Who the f*ck is ringing the damn doorbell this early?”

It wasn’t Alpha that answered. Instead a curvy brunette, wrapped in a blanket, was on the other side of the door. Her hair was sticking out in every direction and her eyes showed irritation and anger.

The scent of arousal hit me unexpectedly, causing me to stiffen.

“What the hell do you want,” she demanded.

I was thought about using my Alpha energy to put her in her place, but that wasn’t the priority right now. “I’m looking for Alpha.”

She eyed me up and down, luckily my member had subsided.

“She’s not here. She probably went for a run.” With that she slammed the door.

I dropped Alpha’s heels off at my room and headed towards the back of the castle. There was a row of changing rooms that lined the edge of the castle. They are designed for shifting in privacy and you can keep your clothes in a safe spot.

I disrobed and shifted into my wolf form, then I headed towards the edge of the woods that surrounded the estate. There are many trails in the woods that are open to all wolves.

Once I could no longer see the castle I stopped and sniffed the air, hoping to catch her scent. Alpha must have taken another trail, because I couldn’t smell her.

I headed to another trail, but again nothing. I turned and ran in the opposite direction and finally caught her scent.

I caught sight of red fur from the corner of my eye. It could only be her with such a unique coat and I followed her. Alpha ran majestically through the woods. Her coat glistened with golden highlights when it hit the light. I thought she was beautiful in her human form, but her wolf was equally gorgeous.

I ran after her and caught up to her without much effort. “I thought the big, bad Alpha Alpha would be faster than that!”

She huffed when she took sight of me. “I’m taking a leisure run.”

“How would you feel about a race?”

She gave me a smirk. “Don’t cry when I win.”

“Someones cocky. How about a bet?”

“What do you have in mind?”

“Dance with me at dinner tonight.”

She rolled her eyes. “And if I win?”

“I’ll stop bothering you.”

“You should have started with that! To the edge of the forest. Lets go!”

She hightailed it, not waiting for my confirmation. I internally chuckled and bolted after her.

I’ll admit, for a she-wolf she was fast, but Alpha or not, I will beat her. I caught up to her easily. “I thought Alpha’s were supposed to be fast.”

“I’m not even going my full speed. See if you can keep up.” Alpha surged forward, but I was quick enough to stay on her tail.

“You’re not much of a challenge. All this talk about female Alphas being just as strong as males, yet nothing to show for it.”

Alpha growled at me and increased her speed.

The forest was getting thicker and we had to dodge trees and brush. The two of us weaved between trees side by side, our steps matching each others.

She’s a lot faster than I thought she would be, but I still wasn’t going my top speed. I increased my stride to see if she could keep up and some how she manages to keep pace with me.

“Is that all you got, Alpha Gorilla.” The nerve of this woman. She demanded respect, but refused to return the favor.

“You asked for it. No more games.” I ran at my top speed. I can’t remember the last time I had run this fast. Even the rogues that would attack us were never this much of a challenge.

I continued accelerating forward. I could no longer hear her panting behind me. I could see the clearing ahead. I zoomed to the edge of the woods. The castle was visible.

I began to slow down the second I left the woods. I turned to the forest and waited for her. I wanted to see the look of defeat on her face. “Come on out, Alpha. Don’t be a sore loser.”

I heard her growl before I could see her. She entered the clearing with her eyes narrowed as she snarled at me.

“Not my fault you couldn’t keep up.” I turned and headed to the changing rooms. “I look forward to our dance.” I received another growl from her.

“Can you even Dance? I don’t want you stepping on my toes with your clunky gorilla feet,” she said after we finished dressing.

“Guess you’ll have to find out tonight,” I said giving her a smirk.

“I swear if you step on my feet I’ll kick you in the shin.”

“That’s big talk for someone who couldn’t even keep up with me in a race.” Alpha’s green eyes seared into me as she furrowed her brows.

Despite being annoyed and angry, she still looked beautiful. I reached over and smoothed out the crease on her forehead. “You don’t want to get wrinkles.”

I looked down into her jade eyes. Something about her seemed to mesmerize me every time. I can’t seem to make sense of it.

I was about to run my fingers through her fiery locks when she smacked my hand away. “What’s it matter to you?” She turned with a hair flip and sauntered off. I couldn’t help but watch her ass as she walked away. Thank the Goddess for leggings.

“I look forward to our dance,” I yelled after Alpha, receiving a growl from her.

Alpha:

I slammed the door to my room and stomped towards the bathroom. I needed a hot shower to relax after dealing with Xavier. He was all cocky one minute, then acted concerned for me the next.

I don’t understand him or the fact that I seem to freeze every time he touches me. Everything about him seemed to irritate me. I’m not the type of person to let people get to me, but he always seemed to hit a nerve.

“Are you okay, Babe?”

I nearly jumped at the sound of Tallia’s voice when she stepped out of the walk-in closet.

I wasn’t sure if I should tell her. She was the jealous type and I didn’t want her worrying over nothing.

“Nothing. I just really need a shower after my run.” I turned towards the bathroom.

“Did that guy with black hair and gray eyes find you?” I froze. How did she know about Xavier? “He rang the doorbell like a madman looking for you.”

I gave her a puzzled look. “Why?”

 “He didn’t say. Who is he?”

“The Alpha of The Golden Fire Pack.”

Tallia snorted. “Alpha? That guy? I yelled at him and slammed the door in his face. He’s not very commanding for an Alpha.”

I internally laughed, picturing the look on his face. “He’s a pain in the *ss. Xavier insists that a woman can’t be Alpha, but I’ll show him tomorrow.”

“I know you can do it, Baby.” She walked over and pulled me in for a kiss. “Want to shower together?”

I gave her a wicked smile and squeezed her *ss. “Sounds like fun.”
