Xavier: I stared at Alpha from the other side of my desk. She met my gaze without flinching. She didn’t seem the least bit regretful of her words. I wanted to chastise her, but I had more important matters to deal with. “We need to discuss the information Dave spoke to me about before dinner.” She gave me a slightly puzzled look before nodding. “He has no information on the Mandarks, but he recalls a few break-ins from the Tarik and Greygor clans.
