It is a ten month journey ET (Earth Time) from Seismic Valley Launch to Sector 91:6, the eleventh planet from blue dwarf Edna in the Morning Star Galaxy, where each day and each night lasts 34.7 hours.
Sector 91:6, as yet unnamed, is barren of all life on its surface, the result of a botched attempt at “Trans-Bio-Forma,” a “proven” “scientific” way to alter inhabited planets into nurturing environments familiar to humans. The soil, atmosphere and basic organic make-up of a planet are “transformed” into a New Earth, and the 24th century’s equivalent of Noah’s Ark then begins to colonize.
Sector 91:6 is particularly desirable because it contains an elemental energy source so powerful it could more than double the fastest known travel speed, not to mention blow up a Red Gia
