Chapter 5 Unexpectedly Pregnant

Half an hour later...
Brenda got out of a taxi, still wearing the dirty wedding dress. As she reached the corner she noticed a police car parked in front of her house.
She swiftly hid behind some evergreen bushes and watched cautiously through the branches.
She saw Harvey, wearing a suit and necktie, contending with the police.
"Officer, my new wife is missing. She's not sane. This is the medical diagnosis from her psychiatrist. Please help me find her. I'm really worried about her. She's actually prone to violence. I'm worried she may assault someone out there."
"Yes sir, it's true. My sister has no one else in J city. My poor sister, I'm really worried about her! Sir, please inform us as soon as you have news of her!" Lily looked distressed as she wiped her tears with a facial tissue.
"What the f**k, that's vicious! They have even prepared a psychiatric medical certificate to rip me off my property. They must have planned this long ago," Brenda thought to herself.
If she showed up now, she would be most probably get locked up in a mental institution forever. It would be impossible for her to turn over a new leaf.
One was her fiancé, the other was her most beloved sister.
The two persons once closest to her had schemed together to harm her. Damn them to hell!
Brenda silently retreated a short distance and hailed a taxi.
Her cell phone kept ringing. Harvey's phone number was flashing on the screen.
When she didn't answer the phone, he texted her a message.
"Brenda, stop being a pain in the backside. Come back quickly. Let's talk this over!"
"Ha! Son of a b*tch! Talk this over! I'm not going to fall for that."
If she went back he would, first of all, he would undoubtedly send her to the mental hospital. He could then justifiably take away all her property.
She sent a text message to Kelly, her reliable best friend.
At 3:00 pm Kelly hurried to the airport, suitcase in hand.
"I called the scumbag first as you'd instructed, and I told him you were at my place. After he and Lily left, I opened the door with the spare key you gave me. I've got you your ID card and passport. There's also your wallet, jewelry, and some clothes.Is it enough? Do you need anything else?"
Brenda had trusted Harvey too much, she had put all of her money in his hands..
And now the only valuables in her possession were the pieces of jewelry that she had bought for her wedding...
"Kelly, thank you so much. Nothing is missing. These pieces are all for you. Also, I've already prepared a notarized deed to you at my wedding house that I'm entrusting to you. After I leave, sell the house. I won't leave one penny for that scumbag!"
"Harvey is a rogue. You're alone, you can't fight him. Hurry and book your ticket. Leave and never come back again. When I sold your house, I'll wire the money to your account. Also, take this jewelry with you. You will need money for all kinds of expenses abroad in the future!" Kelly hugged Brenda tightly.

After Brenda said goodbye to Kelly, she hurriedly dragged her suitcase into the airport and got on the plane to Paris...
