"I-i didn't kill a-anyone, I didn't kill anyone! I didn't kill anyone" I kept telling myself as I held my head in fear.
What really happened that day? I really can't remember anything!
What is she saying? Why does she keep on telling me that I killed her brother? I don’t even know her brother! Even her!
I wanna file a demand if she keeps on accusing me with the things that I didn't do!
"Vanessa! Come on! Let's eat now!" I heard Nika’s call.
"I'm coming!" I shouted back
I fixed myself first then I went back to the pool area, I found them sitting on a bench and they were all wearing robes already.
"Who called you?" Marx asked me as I sit down beside him
"Just my old friend" I replied and he just nodded at me.
Friend? I don’t really know her.
We have already started eating and the barbecue is super delicious! I temporarily lost track of what the girl and I talked about.
We all looked at Nika when she started to talk and ask some questions.
"You’re single, Theron? I thought you were taken. HAHAHA" Nika said as she took a sip on her wine.
"Yeah, I was taken before." Theron said.
My brows furrowed, why did they break up?
"Since when?" Nika asked,
"ah, about 3 years? Something happened 3 years ago, so we broke up" Theron said, making me nervous!
3 years ago, Jake died, they said it’s because of me, but swear! I really don’t remember what happened three years ago.
Is Jake’s death related to what the girl said to me earlier? Holy s**t! I don’t wanna overthink!
I stared at Theron’s face. He really looks like Jake, I wanna ask him if he’s Jake but I’m still scared to ask.
Why did Jake die? Why are they blaming me for the death of my ex boyfriend? Yes, I was the last one with him but we were just wandering around then. But I didn't kill him!
I can not remember! W-why? Why don't I remember anything ?!
My head aches so I reach my bottle of water so I can drink.
"What is her name?" I heard Nika ask,
"Sorry" Theron apologized. He doesn't seem to want to say.
I faked a cough to warn Nika to stop from asking about someone’s love life.
"Oh, sorry! I'm interfering too much! Let's eat!" She finally changed the topic.
I kept on glancing with Theron, it's a good thing that he doesn't notice my glance. I know that Marx already noticed it, he keeps on looking at me!
While eating I still can’t stop from overthinking. Theron must be Jake…
But no! Why does it seem like he acted like I didn't exist before?
Maybe he already moved on?
Maybe he already forgot our past?
But Jake is dead, we didn’t have any official breakup and closure!

"Thank you girls!" The boys starts to waved their hands on us
Nika and I walked them to the lobby so they won’t get lost. Marx told me earlier that they almost get lost because there’s too many hallways here.
While Marx's story seems to have forgotten what we were talking about. I'll just ask him next time. Why did they die? They didn’t follow the rules? Or they refused to do the mission? Only Marx knows.
"Bye!" Nika and I also said goodbye to them.
I watched them getting into their car, they even blew our horns before they left.
“Let’s go?” I said to Nika and she just nodded at me.
“Theron is a nice guy” Nika started to open a topic.
I gave her a teasing look but when she saw me she raised her arms like she’s giving up.
“Hey don’t judge me. I don’t like him, but I like his company, attitude, humor” She keeps on praising Theron and all I can do is to tell her that she’s right.
“Seems like you’re starting to like someone” I teased but she just gave me a disgusted face.
“Eww” she said in disgust.
“What?” I laughed “You kept on praising him. It’s a sign that you’re attracted to him” I said to her but the disgust in her face is still visible.
“What if he’s your ex?” I stopped what she said.
“impossible. I didn’t feel any sparks when I first met him, Nika. If he’s really Jake I will know it immediately.” I said and she keeps on nodding.
She finally stopped from telling me about Theron and switched the topic into academics.

"Do you feel sleepy?" Nika asked as we entered my bedroom.
"Nope, wanna movie marathon?" I asked her.
"Sure, by the way, are you free this week?" She asked me while I was preparing Netflix.
"Hmm, not really. why?" I said.
"Why don't we use our ticket?" I frowned at Nika's question.
Where's the ticket? And what ticket?
"Ticket? I don't remember buying it then" I said.
"Duh! You forgot ?! We have a trip to Japan, I promise you that, right? In exchange for you joining Chatzone? Think of it!" I was surprised by what she said.
Oh yes! I almost forgot!
Since next week is our free week, and I also have some absences because I also cut sometimes, so I don't have perfect attendance.
"Sure! For sure there will be no classes next week in Lavantar." I said
Lavantar International School or known as LIS is the name of our beloved school. I'm sorry if I just mentioned it now because it's not important, Hehehe.
"Yes! I'm so excited!" she jumps in excitement
"Me too!" I said with a smile and played the movie,
"Shall I hire our tour guide?" Nika asked while eating popcorn, where did she get that ?!
"You’ll take care of it! I just want to explore all the tourist spots there!" I said smiling.
"fine" She said and just watched
Japan was my dream country, I love everything in Japan. Especially Cherry Blossoms! Looks like I have a lot to post on i********:!

Today is Sunday.
And tomorrow is our flight to Japan. I'm excited!
"Bes! I'll just go home first so I can pack, let's just meet tomorrow, I'll pick you up." She said and kissed my cheeks.
"Sure! Take care!" I waved at her.
She went to the door and left.
Knock! Knock!

I opened the door and then I saw..
"Marx?" I asked in surprise, why is he here?
"Hello Van! I'm sorry if it's too early I forgot my coat. You know I can’t wander if I don't wear it." I was stunned again by what he said.
Calm yourself Vanessa. Let him be.
"I don't know where, just look for it" I said and he nodded at me.
He went straight to the pool area and I prepared him a juice. Apple juice to be exact. I saw him walking back here so I sat down first.
"Ah Marx, can you do me a favor?" I ask here.
His eyebrows met.
"Hmm, what is it?" He asked.
"I'm going to Japan this week, would you tell our professor that I’m not able to go with my classes, please?" I pleaded.
He was surprised by what I said and did not speak immediately.
"A-ah. Alone?" He questioned.
"Nope, I'm with Nika." I said, that made him sigh.
"When is your flight?" He asked
"Tomorrow morning at 7" I answered quickly and handed him the juice.
"I'll go with the both of you" He answered quickly and left the house.
Damn?
"Hey! You have no ticket! And it's just a week!" I shouted at him.
"Then I'll buy my own! I can't just leave you alone with your friend! I'll go with you and it's final" I wanna protest but he immediately drove the car.
