As the reach the palace of the ruler of stormborne domain, my grandfather. I immediately went to his study room. Without knocking I enter.

“Good morning grandpa,” I said while sating down

“Good morning Ronan so how was it” he asked with a face full of expectation.

I laughed and told him “Grandpa, will you believe if I told you I awaken a sss rank talent” with a smirk on my face.

“As expected my grandson is a genius” he said laughing whole heartedly. He stood up and said to me “follow me ronan, let me show you something awesome” after that he smiled mysteriously. Which I immediately followed him until we reach the portrait of our founding ancestor the thunder monarch.

I asked with a disappointed tone “is this what you want to show me”

He smiled and bite himself until he was bleeding and threw his blood on the portrait. Which the portrait immediately replied to opening a portal at the middle of the portrait. Seeing this I was shocked but I kept quiet because I didn’t want to lose face in front of my grandpa and I was sure that was not the end so I didn’t ask any question.

He looked back and said to me “let go” after that he entered the portal and I followed him immediately.

“So what brings you here, Roland Stormborne” said a light that appear in front of as we entered what looks like a treasure vault.

“According to our ancestor will I brought a Descendant with sss rank talent.” My grandpa said with a serious face.

Hearing this the light going around me in circle and after a while it laughed loudly “It really is a divine chaos body, it makes things easier. Hey boy what is your name” it said showing it true appearance with was a ring.

“Ronan Stormborn “ I replied with a confused look.

“Okay ronan put a drop of your blood on me” it said bringing itself in front of me.

Hearing this I gave my grandpa a look, and he nod back at me. With his assurance I bit myself and drop my blood on the ring as instructed.

Immediately I dropped my blood on the ring, it shines more that it was shining before and without any warning it enter my body placing itself around my mana core. That was the last thing I could remember before losing consciousness. Opening my eyes I was already out of the treasure vault but still in my grandpa study room.

“Since you are awake, stand up already. Aren’t you too lazy to be that man descendant.” It was the voice I could hear in my head; I don’t know how but it is kind of weird to have a voice just popping up in your without seeing anything. Is this telepathy that mage awakens after reaching diamond rank. Without knowing what it is I decided to confront it after all my grandpa is still besides me and will protect me. So, I said to my grandpa

“Grandpa, do you know anything about this weird voice I am hearing in my mind, why did I lose consciousness after that weird ring entered my body and how was that weird ring able to enter my body”

Hearing this my grandfather smiled. Before he could say anything, I heard the weird voice again in my head.

“Who are you calling a weird thing. I am the mighty artifact called the chaos devouring ring. And the reason the reason I am able to talk into your mind is because I merge with your consciousness. Which also means I can read your thought.”
