After the breakup, Meg couldn't shake off the feeling that she lost something precious. She missed Alex's s presence in her life, his laughter, and his love. She found herself scrolling through their old photos, reading their old messages, and replaying their memories in her head.
As the days turned into weeks, Meg longing for Alex only grew stronger. She began to wonder if she had been too hasty in accepting the breakup. Maybe they could work through their issues, she thought. Maybe he still loves me. She could not handle the pain and started sending him messages apologizing and begging him to come, Meg knew she had last her dignity doing that but she did not care all that was in her mind was that she wanted him back and didn’t care about who started the issues.
Meg didn’t stop sending him messages on w******p but Alex read them but didn’t reply she felt that he still needed some space so she didn’t disturb him for the next few days. After a week she couldn't resist the urge and reached out to him. She sent him a message, her heart racing as I typed out the words. "Hey, can we talk?" she asked, trying to sound casual despite the turmoil in her chest.
Alex replied after a few hours, his message brief and to the point. "What's up?" he asked.
she took a deep breath and poured her heart out to him. "I miss you," Meg said. "I know we had our issues, but I realize now that I love you. I want us to try again. Can we work through our problems and come out stronger on the other side?"
Alex response was silence. She waited for hours, her phone glued to her hand, but he didn't reply. She sent him another message, this time more desperate. "Please, Alex, don't give up on us. I'll do anything to make it work. I love you."
The silence that followed was deafening. Meg felt like she was losing her mind, wondering what she could do to win him back. She knew she was begging, but she didn't care. All she just wanted was for him to back in her life.
As the days went by, she continued to reach out to Alex hoping against hope that he'd forgive her and take her back. Though he was the one who initiated the breakup but his silence only grew louder, a reminder that sometimes, when someone says goodbye, they really mean it.
