She felt like she could be her true self around him, without fear of judgment or rejection. ‎Without realizing it, Meg started to develop feelings for Alex that went beyond friendship. She will catch herself thinking about him throughout the day, wondering what he was doing, who he was with, and what he was thinking. She'll find herself smiling when she thought about their conversations, and she will feel a pang of sadness when they were apart. ‎But she didn't notice these feelings at first. Meg thought she was just happy to have someone in her life, someone who cared about her and supported her. She didn't realize that her feelings for Alex were growing stronger with each passing day. ‎She pushed the feeling aside, telling herself that she was just being silly. But as the days went by, the feeling grew stronger. She found herself looking at Alex in a new light, noticing the way he smiled, the way he laughed, during their phone and video calls and the way he made her feel. She didn't know what to do with these feelings, or how to process them. All Meg knew was that she felt happy when she chatted with Alex and that she couldn't imagine her life without him. While in computer training, Meg and Alex were also preparing for college and Meg read so hard for the exams so that she could go to the same school with Alex. The day finally arrived when Meg and Alex received their college admission letters they couldn't believe their eyes as she read the words "Congratulations, you have been admitted into the University of Lagos, faculty of science and department of genetics and biotechnology" to the same college Alex had been accepted into. "We were going to be schoolmates" she thought ‎She immediately called Alex to share the news. "We're going to the same college!" she exclaimed, barely containing her excitement. ‎Alex laughed on the other end of the line. "I know, I just got my letter too, the day before yesterday. “This is amazing. We'll be able to study together, hang out on campus...this is going to be awesome”. Meg said to him, like she was already viewing their future life. ‎they made plans to meet up on campus during orientation week. Meg was nervous but excited to finally meet Alex in person. As she walked onto the campus, she spotted Alex standing outside the student union building, looking handsome in his casual outfit. ‎They locked eyes, and Alex smiled, walking towards her with open arms. "Hey," he said, pulling her into a warm hug. "It's great to finally meet you in person." though she was so shy that she didn't hug him properly. “I never knew you were this shy, that you have not seen me for close to two year and you can’t hug me properly” Alex scolded in a joking manner. “I am sorry, still getting used to it” Meg replied in a shy tone, refusing to look straight into his eyes. ‎She felt a spark of electricity as their bodies touched, and she knew in that moment that this was just the beginning of an incredible journey together. They spent the day exploring the campus, attending orientation sessions, and getting to know each other better. ‎As they walked around, Alex told her about his plans for college, from joining the debate team to volunteering at the local animal shelter. She was impressed by his passion and commitment to making a difference. ‎As the sun began to set, Alex turned to Meg and said, "I'm really glad we're doing this together. I feel like I've found a true partner in you." ‎Meg smiled, feeling her heart flutter. "I feel the same way about you, Alex." ‎In that moment, she knew that their relationship was about to take a significant step forward, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held for them. ‎ ‎
