Bradley looked at the man tied up with Kendrick, a faint, indifferent smile playing on his lips.
Emanuel softly inquired, “Don’t you know who he is? How dare he do such a thing?”
The man looked up at him, his eyes filled with resentment.
Emanuel paused, amused. “Oh, we have a tough one here.”
“The thing is, Emanuel, I can’t untie him here. Should we head back to the Ballard family estate?”
Angela’s eyes widened. “Back where?”
“Back to the Ballard estate. I’ll need Emanuel to lend me a basement so I can properly question this man.”
Kendrick nodded in agreement. “Let’s go back then.”
Angela saw through his ploy. ‘I could easily take him back to the Harrison estate first, then return.’ ‘This dog just knows how to seize the opportunity and make a seemingly reasonable request.’
