Chapter 8
Ted sat across the table from his first client at The Chop House Restaurant. The steaks they’d ordered had been served and they were leisurely eating. Several things were making Ted feel uncomfortable. This was Ted’s first date. But it wasn’t so much the guy. Arnold was an older man, probably in his late thirties or forties. He was not bad looking, really, but rather plain with a slight build. He wore glasses which he kept pushing up on his nose as he talked.
One thing that was disquieting for Ted was that they originally had pulled up to Chez Raphaël. Seemed that Arnold had always wanted to try that particular restaurant.
