Chapter 27 The temperature has dropped drastically now that the sun has set. As I walk into town, a thin sheen of sweat rises on the back of my neck and almost instantly cools, chilling me into shivering a little. My hands are tucked down into the pockets of my dungarees, bunched into fists at the uselessness of my situation. If the train was running tomorrow, this would be my last night in Junction. I need to leave, no matter how much it hurts.
