Chapter 3

(the next morning) Allen's p.o.v : *i get up at 6:20 in the morning eat breakfast brush my teeth get dressed , the same old routine except with one addition i now decided to start leaving notes before i left anywhere this girl looked like the type of girl who worried a lot i didn't need her calling one of the employees unnecessarily this was going to be the first of many notes and it was already irritating just thinking about it my note reads as follows* : "dear girl i'm leaving for work if your hungry there are leftovers in the fridge and when your done please clean up after yourself, oh and i'll be leaving a list of chores for you to do everyday from now on you need to start working if your going to be staying here". *i put the note on the table and got up out of my chair and pushed it back in , then grabbed the keys to my car walked out the door making sure it was tightly shut behind me*.  *i get in my car and start it and then back out if the driveway and start heading towards the station, i pulled up to the station around 6:36-6:40  i pulled in past the brown and white sign that read : Brentwood police Department  District 3 Station ,the driveway was a semi-circle the building it's self was tall mostly white's and tan's and a few brick pieces here and there and there was some tall white pillars around the station i still question why they even put them up*. *i pulled off to the left and into the parking lot and because i was early i was the only one here at this hour so i just picked any parking spot , i took my keys out of the ignition and got out of the car closing the door behind me and locking it *.* i take my keys off my belt loop and take a minute to find the keys to the doors after 10 minutes i find the key and open the doors i go into my office and sit down at my desk i started working on the huge files of unsolved missing person's reports i opened one up it was a young girl age 13 hair color blond, eye color green, height "5'4 , weight 140 missing since...this case is new it says she's been missing since yesterday *sigh* "now what am i supposed to do i can't very well go and do this by myself or can i as long as the rest of the squad didn't know they wouldn't have to worry about me , honestly i hate it when they worry it get's annoying and it really infuriates me*.   *I close the file and get up from my desk putting the file in my bag i head towards the doors when i see another car pull up i looked at my watch i was now 6:58 i guess it was around that time where everyone would be arriving soon. i walk towards the parking lot and head towards my car when i got to my car i opened  the door but then i heard a voice call out to me* " oi! officer walker where are you going to in such a rush huh?" *i rolled my eye's and took a deep breath* " i'm taking on one of the missing person's cases please don't tell my squad where i'm going OK ?"  "oh yeah sure as long as you bring me back a coffee after your done!" *i get in my car and close the door i put the key in the ignition this and pull out of the parking lot and out of the station , i needed to get away from him as fast as i could liam didn't know when to shut his mouth i swear i sometimes just want to sew it shut*. *after an hour of driving i pull up to the last place she was seen the warley woods it was going to be a lot to cover by myself  the size was alomst 4 1/2 acres  but i was determined to solve this case so i went forward if i needed back up I'd call for it when i deemed it necessary*. *I walked up to the gate and climbed over it and started looking for any clues like a torn piece of her clothes or any sign of a struggle like nail marks on the trees or drag marks on the ground, i continue walking on and it seemed like i had been walking forever but i did finally manage to find a clue drag marks in the ground which means they most likely went this way i hope im not to late, i run off in the direction of the drag marks and come to a sudden stop when i see a small cabin up ahead the light were on but there was no noise coming from the cabin i crept closer slowly approaching the cabin , i walk up The stairs and quickly move to the wall in case there's someone other then the girl im looking for hanna please still be alive i take a deep breath and open the door quitely i pull out my gun from it's holster and take a quick sweep of the whole upstairs nothing there was no one up here . i make a move for the basment door when i hear noises coming from down there they were definitely home and she was still alive, i rush down the stairs and see hanna naked lying in a dirty mattress she was chained and there was a man about 6'0" he was reaching for a knife, it seemed he hadn't noticed me yet* . "Freeze!" *I shouted the man slowly turned around and looked at me with crazed eyes* "have you come to play to? Huh little boys shouldn't be out at night all alone but I'll take care of you hehehehe" *the man grabbed the knife and rushed towards me all i could do was dodge him he was swinging the knife around like a maniac i need to think of a plan fast or else I'd be dead and no help to hanna while i was lost in thought he saw an opportunity to stab me he hit me in my side * ahhh! * I screamed out in pain but only for a moment as i regained my composer i fired a shot at him i hit his shoulder he just laughed about it , i fell backwards as he came rushing at me i never felt so scared in my life was he really going to kill me...no i could use my powers but then I'd have to run the risk of exposing myself to hanna...i couldn't do that,i was losing a lot if blood there wasnt much time left i had to act it was do or die i flipped the man over changing our positions and my eyes turned black i had decided to use my powers as long as my back was to hanna there was no risk*. "I said freeze" *with that his body completely stopped moving he was frozen in place. I got up and looked around for the keys after a few minutes i noticed they were hanging up on a nearby wall i walked over to them and grabbed them then i proceeded to go over to hanna  and i unlocked her chains*, *i took off my coat and wrapped it around her* "come on let's get you out of here im sure your family is worried sick about you." I pick her up and carried her bridal style back to the car it was about an hour to two hour walk with me carrying her like this we finally make it back to tye gate and i lean half way over and set her down and i turn to head back because if she liked it or not he had to be in the car as well.* w-where are you going sir?" She was looking at me with scared eyes i had to be honest " im going back to get that man i can't leave him getting you was the first part of the job getting him is the second part i still have to fulfill the second part I'll be right back wait for me in the car", i climb back over the gate and this time i run back to the cabin and go down to the basement he was still laying on the floor still like he was dead better of he was but not in my job description to kill , i picked him up nd made the hour walk back to the car and threw him over the gate and then i climbed over i bent down and picked him back up and walked up to the car door i opened the back door and tossed him inside and closed the door again i walk around to the driver's side and open the door and  get in i start the car and pull away from warley woods we made it to the station around 8:20 pm i pulled up and took the left turn into the parking lot and found a spot i took the keys out of the ignition and open my door and got out i closed the door behind me i walked around to the passenger side and open hanna's door she slowly got out and waited by the wall, i open the back passenger door and pull the man out all three of us walked into the station together* hey! Someone take care of this girl while i get this man a cell" liam sadly was the first to look up yes sir right away sir " he got up from behind his desk and walked over to hanna "ok little miss if you'll follow me im going to get you taken care of" i walked in the back and got the man registered and i had noah take him in back . i walk towards my own desk and sit down and then more trouble came over oliver was headed this way "hey umm officer walker can you please answer your phone now that your back there is a girl who's been calling all day and she's been asking for you please for my sanity take the call" i look at him for a moment and sighed " officer Jonas do you really believe for a minute i give two shits about your sanity hmm?" I looked at him with a tired but pissed expression on my face. Well no i gess not but it would still be nice if you could just answer the phone so i dont have to keep answering it," "Fine just go away jonas before i make you lose your sanity myself"  i pick up the phone and jonas patached me through " what is the matter with you girl i thought i said in my letter not to call my work can you not follow simple instructions!?" She lased back* first of all my name isn't girl and i wish you'd stop calling me that second you've been gone for hours i got worried so i called the station sorry for being worried about you!" Man she really was mad why she hardly knew me and for some reason she was worried what a dumbass being worried about someone you hadly know what a fool*  at 8:35 i finished up work and left the building i went out to the parking lot and headed towards my car i make it over and open the door and get it and close it behind me i start the car and pull out of the parking lot and the station knowing I'd have to do this all over again tomorrow. I get home around 9:00 i pull into the driveway and park the car and take the keys out of the ignition and got out of the car and close the door and lock it behind me then i proceed to walk up the porch stairs and i open the Door* i set my keys down in the bowl next to the door and close the door behind me.* i walk over to the couch and sit down just then el came out*

El's p.o.v. : your finally home what took so long why didnt you answer the phone i know you said not to call your work but after i got done with the chores i felt something was off so i called im sorry for making you upset i know i hardly know you or anything about you but that's because you won't talk to me maybe if you just tried maybe a little bit at a time we could slowly get to know each other and maybe we could become really good friends" i smiled at him hoping that if he answered if Would be a maybe or I'll think about it i just hope he'll answer and not leave me hanging he looked up at me and took a deep breath* " you want to get to know me?, why you have no real reason to get to know me and i have no reason to talk to you but ... Do you have a phone?" "Yes i have a phone why do you ask?" "Im asking because i can just give you my personal number so you don't have to call my office anymore but only call when it's an emergency got it" ok i understand oh and allen i think we already made some progress today you were speaking to me in full sentences instead of the usual one word or grunts thanks for that well it's late im sure your tired im going to go to bed now goodnight allen" yeah sure goodnight el" he got up off the couch and  walked off into his bedroom and closed the door , i layed down on the couch and pulled the blanket up over myself and fell asleep with thought of us hopefully  getting closer.*
