Stranger

He was skilled, Wren could tell. She lifted her hips and he helped her out of her jeans and tossed it to the floor. She grabbed unto his jeans but she was clumsy and drunk, and it was blurry so she let him have his way. She laid back on the bed and let this gentle stranger crawl over her. He kissed her in places she didn't know she could be kissed. And when he adjusted himself in front of her entrance, Wren gasped. She was ready. He took her slowly, moving with the rhythm of their breaths. Wren gasped, pleasure building up with each thrust. The both of them came, falling onto each other, panting and falling asleep. *** Asher woke up to the sound of shouting. He groaned, and turned, patting the bed blindly for his phone. He found it, in the pockets of his trouser that was on the floor. With a yawn, he rubbed a tired hand down his face and put on his boxer briefs. 9:04 AM He heard the shouts again. They sounded like they were coming from the other room next to this one. How the hell had he even checked into a place like this? He tried to remember what had happened last night but he couldn't remember much. He remembered driving… "The car…" he started, running towards the window to look outside. He took him a while but he spotted the car just opposite the motel. He wondered when he had driven it all the way there. When he turned back to the room, he froze. The bed was a mess. Pillows were on the floor and part of the bedsheet was revealing the mattress. The bedside lamp that should have been on the bedside table was on the floor. Something had happened on the bed, Asher was sure, but with who? He tried to remember who she was but he was coming up blank. He remembered that she wore a silver blouse that looked so good on her. He remembered her voice, the way she laughed, the way she moaned and the way she fitted underneath him. But he couldn't remember her f*cking face. Was that even possible? His phone began to vibrate and he read the name on the caller ID. It was Nadine, his secretary. "Hello, sir?" Nadine said the moment he answered. "Nadine, good morning. Is everything settled with Mr. Chu?" Asher balanced the phone between his ear and shoulder as he shrugged into his trousers. He yanked them passed his thighs before buttoning it. Then he held onto his phone with his hand. "Yes, sir. He signed the contract with minimal complaints. But he wanted to celebrate over dinner." "Tell him that the next time he makes a trip to New York city, I'll give him a treat." Asher said. "Okay, sir." Then there was a pause. "Where are you?" "I'm at the motel I spent the night—" he glanced back at the time again. "Shit." "Yes, shit." Nadine replied. "Damnit, you could have called me earlier!" Asher snapped as he hurried to grab his shirt. He put the polo on and searched for his keys, wallet and wrist watch. "I did," Nadine replied. "Multiple times." "s**t, are you with my luggages?" He asked, already leaving the room. If he drove at neck break speed, he would make it in time for his flight as well as the afternoon meeting he had with an important investor. "Yes, I'm currently waiting at the airport." Nadine replied. "Okay, I'll be there in less than two hours, an hour if I can make it." He told her before he hung up and got into the car. *** "Ughhhh," Wren groaned as she drank her coffee. She yawned and stretched, resting her head on her kitchen counter. Iris was cooking since she was still hungover from last night. Last night… she could barely remember much of anything after she started drinking. She knew that he was handsome and charming but she didn't even know his name. And it was the best s*x of her life. "How many times did you go?" Iris teased, raising her eyebrows. "Iris!" Wren cried. "Stop. What if Jace finds out?" "Then he can go f*ck himself. He's cheated on you twice!" Iris exclaimed. "And besides you already broke up with him." "Thrice. If you count that woman who I caught him with few days ago." Wren said matter of factly. "My point exactly. Offense, but Jace is a dunce and you're better off without him." Iris said as she plated the scrambled eggs. Wren sighed. "I just feel so terrible” "Save the sorry talk," Iris replied as she handed breakfast to her. "On the bright side though, tips yesterday were crazy!" Wren exclaimed and recoiled, holding her head. "Too loud, too loud." Iris patted her hair softly. "My poor baby." "Asher, I think he's loaded. I remember when he rolled a couple notes into my tip jar. I can pay my rent now, Iris. And a couple other things," she said, her body sagging in relief. But, even as she said these words, she couldn't help but feel the guilt that was starting to eat her up. It had just been one day and she could still remember how she felt when the stranger slid into her. She squeezed her thighs together to stop from squirming. It was insane how one night with a stranger was clouding her judgement and making her question her s*x life. But that Asher… “Who’s there” Iris said after hearing a knock at the door. “Sorry, I’m look for Miss Wrenlee Gibson” he said with deep baritone Wren looked at the doorway and she saw him, her stranger, Asher.
