Unfortunately you

Episode 5

Today is the day Silver and his wife or should I say ex-wife arrives. We are preparing everything while awaiting their arrival,we cleaned their rooms and much more. I am so excited to meet them. Please note the sarcasm. I am so nervous and definitely not excited but I had to put on a smile all day for the sake of others. I didn't want them to notice, although I am getting tired of the fake smiles and all, it's so tiring. 

I am recently cleaning their rooms,whose room though I have no idea and I don't care.

"Baby you have been here for over an hour. Boss is an hour away from here so hurry up and come downstairs." Ivey urged me. I have learnt in the past few days that I have been here that Ivey is the closest to Nana and the fun type, whereas Chloe is very quiet and likes to keep to herself. I don't blame her though working under Monica must be a hard task for her.

"Right I would be there in  a few minutes." Ivey was out of the room in a second. I seriously don't get why they are all in a hurry I mean it's just two people arriving not ten.

"Nana I think you should take a break. You have been working all day." I told her while dropping my cleaning equipments on the floor.

"Pick that up now and take it to the storeroom upstairs, the second door on your left second floor." She didn't even acknowledge my words, just gave me instructions and went back to working.

"Yes Nana." I said with a real smile on my face. I have not to provoke her while she is working. Once Ivey wanted to play with her while she was cooking and she hit her with her cooking spoon. That sure left a scar on Ivey. 

On my way upstairs I ran into Chloe.

"Hey Chloe how is your day going?" I know she won't respond so I didn't even wait for her reply.

"My day is going well Baby. Infact am so happy because am leaving tomorrow." I was shocked when she responded to my question. I didn't say anything though.

"Oh and good luck working here. I have a feeling you would last. Ta da bye." She left with a bounce in her step. 

First,she answered my question and then that strange talk about lasting long here. Hmmm that's weird. Just then I heard various voices downstairs signalling Silver and his wife has arrived. I heard Nana welcoming them. I hurriedly went to drop off the equipments and waited a little for them to go up to their rooms before I go back downstairs. After I was sure they went to their rooms I headed downstairs.

"Baby, boss wants to see you in his office now." Ivey told me went I got downstairs.

"Really? Doesn't he want to like freshen up,eat and take a nap then maybe see me tomorrow?" I asked suddenly feeling nervous.

"Baby are you nervous?" She asked me narrowing her eyes at me.

"Of course not" I said with a nervous giggle

"Better be because you know he doesn't bite can't say the same about his wife though." She said with a playful tone. I just half smiled.

"Anyways his office is the last door by your right third floor." I made my way to his office after thanking Ivey. 

Standing in front of the door made me very nervous. I had to remind myself to get it together. I knocked on the door three times and I heard a low 'come in' I carefully opened the door and went in. At first he didn't look up but then I cleared my throat and that's when he looked up.

"Michelle!"
