Unfortunately you

Episode 2

Imagine my surprise when I heard the name. Me and Silver go way back,I met him when I was 16 and he was 21. He was very sweet and romantic,my first and last boyfriend,my first kiss,he even took my virginity,he made me know what love is and what it felt like or so I thought. When I was 18 I learnt he got married while still dating and left the country, he was rich and so was his family, I was left behind like a piece of trash. I wonder if he still remembers me or am just someone in his past. 

I just arrived home. I live in a simple two bedroom apartment, it's affordable and comfortable. I left work early because I need to rest after all I start my other work tomorrow. On getting to my doorstep I heard the very familiar voice

"Michelle thank God you are back. I need a place to stay for now." That's my sweetest neighbor and best friend Emily Jones. She comes from a very rich home but she left home when her son turned 3 and left him with her Mom. She is struggling to make ends meet,she has been kicked out of her house three times in five months how that is possible I don't know,so  as you can see she isn't doing quite well for herself.

"Emily I think you should go back home. It's obvious you don't have enough to carter for yourself" I said after we entered my house.

"I know but...."

"Plus tomorrow am leaving for another work and although it means more money it won't be enough to take care of myself, Ora and you. Sweetie you have to understand." I explained to her carefully for to understand but I already know her response it never changes.

"Exactly why I will get a job and I will take care of Ora for you so please let me stay here, please?" She is difficult to convince plus she is giving me puppy eyes so who am I to say no.

"Okay you can stay. Ora will be back this weekend,her school went on an escortion and I have to start work tomorrow. Her school usually closes by 4 so please get a job that closes around that time." I gave the information she will need.

"Hold up,you are still doing that job?" Michelle you promised me you will quit after the last one and that was three months ago." Emily said annoyed. She hates my job and I keep promising her I will quit but I can't we need the money.

"I promise after this one I will quit. This job is going to give me enough money to open up my dream shop plus it's going to get Ora a new school bag and shoes and new dresses. So I need it please understand. Okay?" I said in the most convincing voice ever and I know she will understand after all she is my best friend for a reason.

"Okay but please let this really be the last one"

"Sure. Now am tired and I have to be up early tomorrow to resume my new work. So goodnight and sweet dreams." I said and perked her check and headed straight to my room.

"Goodnight love you" I heard her reply but I was too tired to say anything. I quickly took my bath and lied down.

I don't know how am going to face Silver tomorrow especially as his maid' but the money from this job is important and I can't risk it for anybody. With that thought in mind I fell asleep.
