As soon as the last applicant came out of the room, Valerie smiled at her, and the woman smiled back.
“How did it go?” Valerie couldn't help asking.
“It was good, just waiting for them to call me,” she replied. Valerie wanted to ask what they had asked her, so she could get an idea of their usual questions, compared to the previous interview where they had simply informed her that she wasn't qualified because she didn't have job experience.
