I loved the rain. When I was younger, I would stand outside while it poured down and hoped that my sins would be washed away with the purifying raindrops. I always felt so refreshed afterwards. It was amazing. I knew that it was all psychological and nothing had changed, but it helped me. I woke up to the sound of rain hitting the roof and the windows. Unfamiliar surroundings.
