  I was in my little room,I was in so much agony,I felt my bones stretching and cracking.I went to my aunt Maris and told her,she gasped and ushered me to her room,she locked the door I had no idea what was happening,but then a sudden pain jolted through my spine,I felt my nails lengthening,and then I looked at them and saw that they grew into claws.I had the urge to go to the mirror,I started to walk when I fell to my knees and had to crawl the rest of the way.I looked into the mirror and saw that I had a pair of ears.They looked as though they were made of rubies,I made them move up and down and they shined and glittered when I did.I felt a sharp pain in the lower part of my spine,I looked behind me and saw I had a tail that looked the same as my ears.My aunt Maris knocked quietly.She opened this slot in the door.

 “Are you okay?Do you want anything to eat?Steak?Hamburger?Anything you want and I’ll get it for you.”she whispered through the slot,I was shocked.

 “Why are you asking me what I want,and why did you lock me in here?”I asked, trying not to wince when I felt pain shoot through my hands.

 “Well,you need protein,and that gruel won’t cut for a few days.So what do you want?Do you feel trapped in here?”

 “Yeah,it feels like I’m trapped in a cage,like I should be outside,like I should be running.I want to go outside.”I said,growling the last few words,she looked afraid,I said sorry trying not to growl,she cautiously unlocked the door and let me out,I felt a little freer.She lead me to the yard,she pressed a button that she got from the top of the doorway,and fences came up as far as I could see,turns out we had a lot more property than I thought.

 “How many acres are there?”

 “There are 6,158 acres,so you can run around and play and do whatever you want.”she said while glancing at me,almost as though she was scared of what I might do.

 “I’ll be back in a little while you run around and get comfortable,I had a little shed made and it has a bed,kitchen,and a bathroom,so you can do anything you want or need.”I started to run,I had never felt so free,it was like I was a caged tiger finally being set free.I was running around the fence,I ran at least 2 or 3 miles,before I heard a bell,a small tinkling sound,but my ears went up andand I heard it clear as day.I ran to the patio,and saw my aunt Maris standing there with a tray in her hand,it was filled with delicious food,I felt my mouth water at the sight of it.She gingerly sat it on the table,as though I had her at gunpoint,she backed away,and I looked at her curiously.I thought she might be sick or something,I reached up to feel her head and it was perfectly normal except for the fact that she had a few beads of sweat.I saw a flash of fear in her eyes when I reached up to touch her forehead.

 “W-what are y-you doing?”she asked with a shaky voice.

 “Checking your temperature.”I told her,while she cowered back in fear.

 “W-why?I’m not sick.”she said while I was finishing up.She stepped back while watching me,she grabbed a plate and set it down on the island.It was a mixture of meats and vegetables,she also sat down another tray of juices,and water.She motioned for me to start but then immediately looked fearful and put her head down,I gingerly took a bite of a ‘hamburger’ as she called it.It’s flaver’s exploded in my mouth,I tried some drink called grape juice,it was spectacular!I heard a thumping and my aunt and I both looked behind me and saw my tail hitting the chair,my aunt giggled then stopped when she saw something behind me.I suddenly got protective over the property,I saw a wolf but it was bigger than any wolves i’ve seen.It growled at aunt Maris,I stepped in front of her and growled at the wolf,standing my ground,it snarled.

 “Back.Away.Now.”I growled with something in my voice that made it boom across the yard,the wolf whimpered and started to back away.

 “Shift.''I told the wolf,he stepped behind the shed,I used some of the earth to cloth him,he looked shocked.

 “Who are you and what are you doing here?What do you want with my aunt?”I ask while still using the booming voice.

 “I’m Joe and I was sent here because our Alpha smelled a new wolf and he told me that whoever the new wolf was,was his mate so I went to find the new wolf.And I saw the human,humans don’t like our kind,so I thought she was going to hurt you.I mean no harm,to you,Luna,or the human.So,please,come meet the Alpha.”He said hurriedly.

 “Mate?Luna?Alpha?What do those terms mean?”I ask using my usual voice.He looked relieved.

 “Well,mate means soulmate,your other half,your everything.Luna is the woman leader of the pack,the Luna is the mate of the Alpha,the male leader of the pack.You are the Luna because you are the mate of the Alpha.”

 “How do you know that i’m his mate?How do you know that I-”I was cut off because I smelled a wonderful scent,I was picked up from behind and I was hugged by another wolf.I felt safe,and I didn’t mind being hugged,even though I hated hugs.I hugged him back and I heard him inhaling my scent,his scent was like smoke from fire with a touch of vanilla.

 “Mate.”he growled in my ear,I giggled at him.

 “How old are you?”he asked still holding me.

 “17.”I say softly.

 “Almost.Do you understand what I am to you?”He asked.

 “Mate,soulmate.”I say without thinking,he hugged me closer and I felt how proud he was to hear those words.

 “Who are you?How did you find me?”he let me go and looked me in the face his ahir was a dirty brown,with blood red tips,it blended so well together,I just wanted to run my hands through it.

 “I am Felix,and I followed your scent.I was just walking and I caught your scent and I couldn’t wait for him to bring you back.I wanted to meet you.What is your name?”

 “Oh,yeah.I am Alexandra.”I said,while bringing myself back to earth,I was basically drowning in his deep blue eyes.I nervously started biting my lip,while I suddenly found myself conscious of my clothes,I felt my ears go down a little,I made them to stay up.He noticed me suddenly become nervous.

 “What’s wrong?Why are you nervous?”he asked me gently.

 “Your wearing such nice clothes and I’m  wearing jeans and sweatshirt,with a tank top underneath.It probably looks bad for you.”I say shyly.

 “Honestly you couldn’t do anything that would make me embarrassed of you.Your my mate.I know that you are powerful,I can feel it,I don’t want to say this,but you will have other mates.But I can’t stay,not until you find your other mates,but when you do I will know and I will come back.That is why you won’t remember today not until I’m near you after you find your mates,you will find me soon after you remember this.I promise you that I don’t want to do this.”

 “Why can’t I remember today?”

 “Because your not 18 yet,and you partly shifted early.I’m sorry,the rest of today you will sleep,and feel no pain.We will meet when you find your mates and when your 18.”he said before he kissed my head and wiped his hand over my head,I instantly fell asleep.
