There were lots of things Jack loved about teaching. The students’ enthusiasm. New productions every semester. Getting immersed in the one thing in this world that always gave him joy. Writing questions for final exams was not one of them. With a frustrated growl, he shoved his laptop away, papers skittering off his desk as the machine slid across the top. This was the point where he got tempted to use last semester’s test instead of composing a new one. It wasn’t like other teachers didn’t do it. And the earlier test was a good one.
