ESTRELA After Kian and I kissed, I finished painting the wall on my own - I even managed it quite well on my own. I mean, even is the woman. It would certainly have been faster if Kian had helped me, but maybe it was better that he left. It just proves to me that I shouldn't mess with Kian. He's one of my dad's boxing students, and I've only recently gotten out of a very stressful relationship. It wouldn't do to rush straight into a new one. And I also have a feeling that Kian isn't the type who thinks highly of relationships. I'm sweaty and smeared with paint when I'm finally done. I decide to get in the shower before getting ready for my first day at the club. I'm a little nervous. I've worked in a pub before, but it's not quite as comparable to a club. The job is still perfect for me. I have to work late into the night on the weekends, but I have plenty of time during the weekday mornings and afternoons to write my book. After I've finished showering, I look at my bedroom. The color definitely makes it look more homely and comfortable. I'm thinking about buying some decorations and definitely some plants as soon as I get my first salary. "Hey, Ela," Summer greets me beaming as she walks up to me and unexpectedly hugs me. I smile and return her hug. "Well, Jason told me that you worked in a pub, so you certainly have some experience, but it's a little different in the club. Here you don't have to bring drinks to people's tables - except for the VIP - area - but prepare some at the bar and hand them over there. First I'll show you the drinks menu and then how they are mixed," she explains and leads me to the blue-lit bar. "Another colleague Silas, me and from now on you will be at this bar. We have a second bar over there," she explains, pointing to the back. I nod. For the next two and a half hours, Summer shows me each drink and how they are made. Of course, I can't learn everything at once, and Summer assures me that it will come over time until I get it all in my head. But it's doable and I'm not quite as nervous as before. "And how is our new one doing?" My boss Jason takes a bar stool in front of the bar. He smiles at me. "Good. Summer showed and explained everything to me," I answer him. I look at Summer, who just opens a beer and then hands it over the counter to Jason. "Thanks, babe," he says, giving her an adorable smile that is sure to melt any woman. Summer is really lucky. Because Jason is not only very attractive, but also really likeable and charming. Grinning, I look between the couple in love as they tease each other. "We'll open in an hour. After work, there are always plenty of taxis outside the club if you don't have a car," says Jason, getting up. "Okay thanks." Jason waves it off, gives Summer and me a smile before turning around. "Jason is really nice." Summer's eyes sparkle and she smiles from ear to ear. "Yes, he is," she agrees. "How long have you been together?" I ask her curiously. "For two years. When I started working here back then, things sparked between us on the first day. There were a few differences because he's my boss, but we just couldn't get along," she laughs I really want this job to fund my college," Summer explains. "You guys are really a good match." She smiles warmly at me. "Good. Well then, I think you're ready for your first day..." "Hello, pretty ones." A man with a slight accent, probably of Latin American descent, enters the bar. He has fair tanned skin, raven hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a shirt with the top two buttons undone. He goes behind the counter and comes right up to me. "Ahhh, you must be the new girl. Hey, I'm Silas." At first I thought he was reaching out his hand, but instead he unexpectedly kissed me on both cheeks. Summer giggles. As he pulls away from me, I introduce myself as well. "Hi, I'm Estrela Clark." "So you're Harrison's missing daughter, I heard?" Silas says. "Missing?" I laugh before asking, "You know my father?" "Honey, your father is a legend here, so to speak," explains the Latino with a grin. I look at Summer, who shrugs. "Yes, that's right," she says. "Silas! On time as always. Just before opening." Jason comes back to the bar and gives Silas a mock evil look. "Always, boss," laughs Silas. Jason rolls his eyes. "We'll open in ten minutes," announces Jason. "If something happens, I usually stay in the office or upstairs with the VIP," he explains to me. He pats the counter and winks at all three of us before leaving. "God Summer, you're such a lucky guy! If he wasn't straight and with you, he would definitely be my booty scheme," chuckles Silas. And I can't help but laugh as Summer glares at him. "Silas!" Summer warns him and slaps his bum with the tea towel. "Oooo Summer," Silas giggles and I notice the corners of Summer's mouth twitch. "You're such an ass!" she laughs and I agree. I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun with them both. The next few hours go pretty well. And mixing the drinks works better and better after a few attempts. Plus it's totally hilarious with Summer and Silas. Luckily the guests are okay too. Shortly before five o'clock in the morning, most of the party guests have left and at some point it is empty and the end of the day is approaching. Summer hugs me to say goodbye. Silas slaps my butt with the towel, which makes me giggle. I haven't known them for very long, but I've already grown very fond of them. As Jason said, there are plenty of taxis outside the club. They probably do quite a bit of business here driving drunk people home. An advantage for me as I don't own a car. When I get home, I have a small snack before I go to sleep. Luckily, I'm not quite as tired as I thought, which is why my thoughts suddenly go a little crazy in bed. Because I can't help but think of a certain man. I don't know what it is, but there's something that draws me to him. But I can't let a man distract me again. I have a strict plan this time that I'm following - trying to follow. My ex has already gotten on my nerves enough. Because of him I couldn't concentrate on writing and everything is supposed to be different here. So it's best I stay away from Kian as much as possible. As hot as he may look, he's throwing my mind in the wrong direction. I can't deny that I didn't like the kiss. It was a good kiss that I will remember for a long time. Kian Warren is clearly a danger to my senses and sanity. But that just can't be between us. Mainly because he's one of my father's boxing students. And I don't know how my dad would react if he found out about the one we kissed. I roll over and turn off the light to finally sleep. I can feel his hands everywhere and yet nowhere. He kisses me with desire. I want to rip his clothes off! Wet kisses travel down my neck to my collar bones. I moan and tangle my hands in his soft hair. It feels so good. He feels so good! "Kian!" I moan. A growl comes from him, causing a tug in my abdomen. He pulls my shirt over my head. His gaze wanders hotly over my upper body. He devours me with his eyes. His hand cups my chest, pushing the cup of my bra aside. I breathe out, panting. My pelvis presses against his erection. I want him! His full lips are on mine again. His tongue starts a wild dance with mine. My hands wander over his rock hard chest to the bumps on his stomach. I trace them as we continue kissing passionately, then my hand wanders into his shorts... I suddenly wake up from my sleep, panting heavily, and the wind pulls me completely upright. Oh my God! It was just a dream . Crap! I almost had a s*x dream with... Kian! I sigh and run my hand through my hair and fall back into bed with a groan. My mind is clearly going crazy. Kian Warren, what are you doing to me?
