Cont. Chapter 4: One More Time, One More Chance

***Her POV; The whole place was decorated differently like it was yesterday. No mini stage. No candlelight dinner table. No food feast like last night. It was a completely different set up. “Balak mo bang maging event planner sa future?” ~laughs~ Then he asked me for a date which I answered, Yes.

There was an improvised tent, made from the white cloth swag. There are yellow light bulbs. A mat was laid on the floor with throw pillows. We have pepperoni pizza, Italian salad, spaghetti alla puttanesca, garlic bread and choice of either iced coffee or soda.

As we eat out super sarap food. I must say 100% authentic Italian food. He handed me a paper.

Chanyeol: ~handing a paper~ here

Me: What’s this for?

Chanyeol: Write your wish.

Me: Seriously? My wish?

Chanyeol: Yes. ~ smiles~

Me: Hindi ko pa nga naisulat natupad na eh. ~smiles~

Chanyeol: What?

Me: I said, even before I wrote my wish it had already come true. ~smiles~

Chanyeol: Really? What is it?

Me: ~smiles shyly~ You. To be with you is a wish come true. ~smiles~

Chanyeol: And to meet someone like you, is also a wish come true.

***His POV; I was not expecting that she would say yes. But I am happy that she did. I was not expecting that she would really say that to me. To be with me is a wish that comes true to her. To be with someone like her is more than a wish granted to me.

They decided to simultaneously write their wishes.

***Her POV; I asked him, “Do I really have to write my wish?" and he immediately replied; YES! “Ang hirap naman nito.” ~problemado~

“I know I have been asking for so many favors from you my entire life and you have constantly granted them. But this one is for him, ~looked at him~ I hope that Chanyeol will soon find her one true love. Someone whom he deserves and who deserves him. May that someone be his reason to smile, to joke, the reason he wakes up in the morning, his inspiration to write new songs, someone whom he can travel with, someone whom he can argue things, someone who will support and encourage him to do best in his craft, someone who will bring out the best in him, and most of all someone who will never leave him.”

***His POV; “It was hard to think of a perfect wish” ~he glanced at Zee~ “shouldn’t have suggested this. It's hard really.” ~laughs~

"My wish is for Zee, I wish that she finds someone who will love, respect, cheer, treat her better and will make her as his priority."

They both rolled their papers and tied it on the balloons and prayed together to God, asking him to grant whatever their wishes are and whatever their heart desires. As they release colorful balloons in the sky, they continue to look up and watch for it when Chanyeol signals to Kuya Bong to light the fireworks.

Zee: Woaaaahhh ~surprised~

Chanyeol: ~pretending to be surprised as he smiled as Zee~ Nice

Zee: Thank you.

Chanyeol: Welcome

Zee: Close your eyes and make a wish. ~praying~

While she closed her eyes and prayed, Chanyeol was staring at her the whole time. When she was about to open her eyes he immediately closed his eyes and pretended he was praying.

Zee: ~looked at him~ Did you pray?

Chanyeol: Yes.

Zee: Good. ~gives two thumbs up~

Chanyeol: What was that for?

Zee: I once watched it in a series. If you want him to hear your prayers quickly you should set fireworks at night because that’s the time the angels are going up in heaven.

Chanyeol: Oh really. That’s interesting.

Zee: Thank you.

Chanyeol: For what?

Me: For all these.

Chanyeol: Welcome. This is how you should be treated by a man. I am not saying I am perfect but you are beautiful just the way you are.

Me: Was that a Bruno Mars song?

They both laughed. Then both of them listened to One More Time, One More Chance by Masayoshi Yamazaki. They were laying on the mat and staring up at the sky.

***Her POV; I will never forget the time he serenaded me and I will never forget the whole time I was with him. We were exchanging personal thoughts and singing our hearts out with every good song we agreed to sing. “I’ll surely miss him.”

***His POV; I went to this island with one purpose and that’s to find her. I was in a hurry though but little by little I have set it aside and learned to enjoy it and I feel good. “I think I’m going to miss her.”

As they ended their day, he walked her until the front door of her hotel room.

Zee: Thank you so much. I enjoyed the night and I was surprised how romantic you can be to her. Such a lucky girl I guess.

Chanyeol: You're always welcome. You were the first person who treated me like this.

Zee: Treated you like what?

Chanyeol: Whenever I am with you I am Park Chanyeol not EXO Park Chanyeol.

Zee: Good to know you enjoyed my company. Oh, by the way, I'll be leaving tomorrow. I have talked to the hotel staff to assist you when you want to go for a joy ride.

Chanyeol: No need for me to stay here for a long time. Maybe I should stop looking for her because if she really wants me to find her she'll be the first person to tell me where she was. So I might leave soon also. Who knows maybe tomorrow? ️

Zee: I hope you find her before you leave the island. Oh it's getting late. Let's rest and do our last joy ride tomorrow.

Chanyeol: Goodnight.

Zee: Night.
