  Aurora's POV   The drive to the Alpha King Pack estate felt longer than usual. My hands were gripped so tightly on my purse that my knuckles were stark white against the leather. I kept checking the digital clock on the dashboard.   7:00 PM.   I told the driver to pull over to the side of the road, and I dialed Adrian for the third time.   "Aurora?" he picked up, sounding breathless and stressed. I could hear the frantic tapping of a keyboard in the background. "Look, something urgent just came up at the company.
