Chapter 5: Partnership

"....L-l-let's g--go?" He stuttered. He scratched his hair timidly. He initiated and put his hand over her shoulder.

That moment, coincidentally one pink balloon in front of them flew up to the sky...

"It's beautiful...." She followed the balloon by staring at it until it went too high that her eyes couldn't see anymore.

Looking at her smiling face he wantednto say something. "You know what?" He suddenly ask.

"..Uh?" She looks at him.

"*cough* you are more beautiful than that balloon." He coyly said.

She was stunned at the sudden confession. "... Thank you." She blinked then grinned. He gently pulled her to the shop then insisted that she must pick at least one flower. She then busied herself looking around what she likes to buy.

Observing around, his sight was attracted to two certain flowers including Red Rose. He slowly made his way and picked them consecutively.

The shop keeper clapped her hands happily, "Do you know what you just picked?"

Davien was surprised but shook his head honestly.

"While all of us knew the meaning of Red Roses, Alstroemeria is a rare flower so it would be rare for people to know what it meant. Do you know what it meant?" She curiously askrd. He shook his head calmly while slightly smiling at her. "Let me write it for you." The shopkeeper said then walked to her table.

Looking at the shopkeeper, it seems like what he just picked were beautiful enough.

When the shopkeeper was finished writing, she gave the note:

'Red Rose, I love you with all my heart and soul.

Alstroemeria, you are so special and rare, just like this unique flowers. I cherish our love and time together.'

He grinned at himself and told the shopkeeper that he'll buy it. The shopkeeper smiled at him then quickly fill all the needs.

Now they were outside. She looked at him then the flowers he picked subsequently.

She touched each petals, "What's this? So cute." Ruby said as she sniff the flowers.

"For you." He simply said, tucking out the flowers. She gladly accepted it with a sweet smile. He put away the note the shopkeeper gave to him earlier. He'll give it to her, later.

"What do you want to eat?" His voice is too lively.

She touched her chin. "Anything...Oh! Ice cream!" She happily said, her eyes plastered a very happy expression even only saying the word Ice cream.

Why didn't she get any aftermath after having physical contact to him? Is this normality was really normal or what?

She questioned her mind being erratic. She was amused because she was supposed to be itchy, and even Gesile... That day, they even linked their arms but no offense she was not itchy. As the doctor said, only herself could control it.

"What flavor do you want?" He asked glancing at her expressionless face. She smiled at him.

She said as she take out her phone and put it on the table. "Strawberry." She blandly said.

He help her sat on a chair then went to the front to line up and buy.

She looked at the flowers on her hand and decided to take a picture of it then will post later.

She intentionally showed her hand holding it tightly. Being satisfied, she put away her phone just in time that he was already on the chair in front of her. She stared at the Ice cream then automatically blinked.

Her eyes followed the ice cream. "Here." He said handing her the cup. She politely accepted it with a bow then dig carefully.

"Oh right. Is learning the fashion design difficult?" She without looking at him questioned with a curious mind of how he design when he is a man.

He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, everything is tough. But... Yeah... I am... surviving." He nodded finishing his part. After eating two spoonful of ice cream, he lifted his head to look at her.

"What about you? Is Management Business tough?"

She lifted her spoon without looking at him. "Don't even ask. It's hard... like... Very much." She shook her head pathetically then put down the spoon to dig ice cream.

He shook his head, "...I've been meaning to ask this, but... why did you decide Management Business? Are you planning to have a business someday?" He examined her expression.

She raised her spoon again, "Sort of. I decided to learn it because I am also learning cosmetics things so... Maybe in the future, I might have little store." She lied that part. She must learn business for the sake of her family's business.

He nodded seriously. "Then... in the future... let's... have... partnership. I am also planning the same way, deciding to build a little store. What do you think?" He unhurriedly ask, putting Ice cream in his mouth.
