There is a loud knock on the gate of the Tae residence. Ali volunteers to go and see who it is, and comes back to the boys who are now busy with the barbecue set up in the backyard. “Eun Lee, it is your stepmother. She is looking for Nala.” The two boys decide to both see her, agreeing that Nala will not say anything to provoke her. “Hi Mari, what a pleasant surprise,” Eun says a he fakes a smile. “You are here.
