I raced out of our room laughing. I was beginning to be totally happy for once in my life. Having a mate that wants and needs to protect me. Makes me feel so giddy. Alright I got to pull my thoughts together so I can spend the next several hours with my best friend in the whole wide world.
I made it to the ground floor and right when I hit the last step down I was engulfed in a squealing hug. I knew right away who it was. My very over exhilarated best friend Alicia. She pulled back and asked, “are you ready for some much needed fun!?” I smiled excitedly and nodded and giggled at her. I was so happy to spend the next two days with her.
