"Bestfriend. . ."
Layla's eyes widened as she turned her head towards the direction of where the voice came from. Agad naman siyang napatakip sa bibig nang makita kung kanino nanggaling ang maliit na boses.
Patakbong tinawid naman ni Declan ang pagitan mula sa kinatatayuan nito papunta sa hospital bed na hinihigaan ni Dylan.
"Y-You're awake?" Declan asked as he gently held his son's hand.
Dylan slowly blinked his eyes while staring innocently at Declan. "Bestfriend," he said in a low voice as if he's been dying to see his 'bestfriend'.
"Y-Yes, yes. T-This is Bestfriend, kiddo. May masakit ba sa 'yo? What do you want, huh? Tell me so I can give it to you." Nagpapanic na tanong ni Declan kaya't hindi mapigilan ng mga kapatid nito na mapangiti.
