When Mr. Stevens returned from his trip into town to meet with the two detectives that came to see them before, Louis was waiting for him in Mr. Stevens office.
“Louis, is there something I can help you with?”
“Sir, I just wanted to make sure everything is alright. I heard you were meeting with those detectives from the other day, and I wanted to make sure you were alright.”
“All good Louis, I appreciate you checking on me but right now I need to try and figure out how best help them. I am not sure what might be going on but I have not continued all this work for the name of our church to be defamed,” Melvin said.
“Sir, I really would like to help. Please tell me what happened and I can help you think of a way out of it.”
