Alec paced from one side of the cell to the other, needing to move as he tried to work out how he was going to get Kaisa to see him as an ally. Maybe he didn’t need to, but everything was going to be much easier if he didn’t have to worry about what she was up to and whether that was going to have an effect on what it was he was doing.
