“Okay, done.” Kaisa slipped her phone back into her pocket. “We’ve got about thirty minutes to get to the executive floor, kill Cheskin, and call off the bounty.”
“Nothing like having a time limit.” Alec nodded, grateful for it. Having that to deal with meant he’d stop thinking so much about things that could never be. “Get moving then.”
The grate they entered through took them into the basement. No one ever went down there, so there wasn’t anyone for them to worry about, but the cleaning drones might just be heading back to recharge.
