“How long does something like this normally take?” Kaisa was sipping from a glass of water, looking like she wished she was somewhere else. “It’s been hours now.”
“Unfortunately, something like this always takes hours, because of the firewalls I have to get through. The Network doesn’t like hackers, and the mega corps like them even less, so it’s always a battle getting any information from either of them. Alec knew that. It’s why he brought me as many vials as he did. Had he not done that I might not have taken on the job.”
