I met you

We seemed so confused and curious at the same time, what is the announcement? We hear the door closing so we decided to come out and he breaths heavily while saying, “Next time be careful, look at the sign before you enter." and he saw my eyes are wet because of tears and made him realize that I'm crying. "W-wait… Are you crying?” saying in his all concern. I wiped my tears and calm myself and looked at his eyes, “No! Will you please…!” shouted with teary eyes and fastly moved and walked out of the Comfort Roomlike in a rush and go back to my classroom.

I am wondering how he looked into my eyes and it seems so comforting. He literally made me feel better like an angel in disguise, I and I suddenly woke up to the reality when Gerald is calling me like there's an earthquake attack, “Girl Let’s go! Sir Havier wants us to come to room 404.”  I'm in shock when he said: "room 404" I don't know why did I feel nervous when I knew we will be in the same room and asked, “What?? R-room 404?” Gerald looks confused about the tone of my voice. “Yes, is there a problem? There’s an important announcement,” he asked me like he smelled something fishy.

We entered the elevator and Gerald keeps on asking what happened to me, "I feel something strange about you, where did you go Jane??" I didn't answer him, instead, I smiled at him that made him more curious. 

We are nowhere in room 404 and I saw his friends are here. But I can't see him. While I'm busy looking for him, Our professor shouted, “Okay, listen! We’re going to have a festival dance competition. You’re here now Block-D and Block-E because you’re merging for this project.” With a serious face and looking towards Jaycee.

Most of Block-E students are boys because their course is all about the computer. They look so excited while my classmates seemed doesn’t like what’s going on.

I glanced suddenly to one corner of the room and I saw Brandon sitting there and looking at me. He winked but all I did was snob him. Sir Hayes caught our attention when he seriously called Jaycee, “Jaycee, I want you to lead the whole group okay, make sure to start your practice as soon as possible.” Jaycee looked like he doesn't know what's going on, He asked Mr. Hayes, “But, Sir. What kind of dance?” Mr. Hayes sarcastically laughs and said, “A Festival Dance. Okay, meeting dismiss. Thank you for coming.” Jaycee breathes heavily and feels pressured for being designated as the leader of the Group. 

All of the students are murmuring because of the project that we need to do. Because Block-E is known as a group of naughty boys so you wouldn’t like to share a project with them. I waited until all the students came out of the room because it’s suffocating if I tried to go with a lot of students in the hallway. I was about to go outside until someone pulled me inside the room.

 and It’s Brandon.

I look at his eyes and trying to remove my arm from being grip by his hands, “What are you doing?! Is it your job to annoy me?” I'm still trying to pull my arms but he is just making it tighter. He closed the door and set me free from his hands and I slapped him with all my force. He smirked and said, “Is it the only way for me to be with you? Then I will do it every day.” I am so confused why is he doing this, I really don't know him personally. “What’s with you?! Are you insane?!!” I asked like I'm so confused. Suddenly, his mood changed. He looks like a child who wanted a mother, “Shhh… I’m not going to hurt you. I just want a companion.” he said with teary eyes.

He walked through the window and he opened it. He looked at me and wave his hand and said, “Come!” I really don't know if I'm going towards him or I will run away, but I feel pity for him, I walked towards him. He slowly opened the curtain for me to see the view outside, It’s so beautiful. I can almost see the whole campus here. I told him skeptically, “I never knew that the view from here is so beautiful.” He faced me and said, “Because you never tried to look.” and smile. He seemed not the Brandon I used to encounter every day, I look above and I saw the birds flying together. He caught my attention when he said, “They’re amazing, right? You know, I always wanted to fly. Like freely, I want to set myself free.” I sarcastically answered, “Then try sky diving.” He laughed slightly and put his elbow on the corner of the window, “I always wanted but I’m scared.” I look at him while he is looking at the view and asked, “Why?” 

He is about to answer but the security guard enters the room with his flashlight, “Hey!! What are you doing there?! The meeting is already done!” We look at each other and I'm already scared but Brandon seemed likes what is going on. He smiled and said, “Let’s Go!” 

He pulled me and we run together. I just realized that there are no students anymore inside the campus. I feel so happy I look at his face while we are running he looked at me and everything seemed in slow motion. He smiled until we reached the park outside the campus.

We're both running out of breath and he asks me while he is tapping his chest, “Isn’t that fun?” I answered the same way, “It’s tiring.”

All of a sudden, the silence prevailed and we both laugh so hard. He looked at me and said, “Do you want to have some drink?” with doubt. I stare at him and smile as an answer that I want. We walked and took his car, he opened it for me and put the seatbelt for me which made me feel sad because only Lucas used to do this to me.

We reached the Pub and as we’re about to enter, He held my hand. I was shocked and look at his face, he is smiling, “Hey! Why are you holding my hand?!” I tried to remove it but he is holding my hand tight. 

He grabbed my chin and lifted my face“I'm just holding your hand so that, no one will try to hurt you because they will think that I’m your boyfriend.” and then winked.

Someone came out from the door that makes us look at it. My eyes widened when I saw whose coming “L-Lucas??” with a trembling voice. He seemed shocked and he looked towards our hands.

I removed my hand from being held by Brandon and he looks upon me. Lucas is with that girl again. He smiled and sarcastically asked, “So, is he the one?” tears welled up in my eyes while saying, “I-it’s not what you think.” I was about to walk towards him but Brandon held my hand and tried to stop me. His face becomes serious as he held my hands and asked, “What are you doing?!” My tears started to fall and I looked at Brandon’s eyes. I removed my hand and walked towards Lucas. With teary eyes, I told him “L-Lucas…it’s not what you think." While I'm trying to hug him but he refused to touch him. The girl beside him caught my attention, "W-who is she?” - I said 

That girl beside him raises her one eyebrow and said with attitude, “I’m his girlfriend! Who are you??” And look at me from head to foot. I look at them and I wasn't shocked anymore to knew that he's cheating on me but I still tried to ask Lucas, "Do you really don't love me anymore? What did I do?" I can feel the embarrassment because of the people coming in and out to the restaurant are looking at me. 

Lucas confidently replied, “Since it seems we both have our new partners, I think it’s time for you know.” and let out a heavy sigh.

Again, I tried to hold him for him to listen to me, “W-wait. H- he’s n…”

But before I continue to say what I’m going to say, Brandon grabbed my shoulder. and look at me. I know he feels pity for me. But I'm shocked to hear what he said, “So, is he Lucas?” He laughed and gave me a glance. He continued, “He’s not that handsome as what you used to tell me. And his new girlfriend…hmm what are you? Are you a pedophile?” he asked Lucas arrogantly.

The girl looked shocked and Lucas was about to punch Brandon but before his hand land on Brandon’s face, Brandon suddenly grabbed his bicep and punch him towards his stomach. He shakes his hand and says, “That’s nothing compare to what you did to Jane.” He straightens his body and said, “Come! Let’s just find another place.”

He shook off his clothes and walked away. Brandon waved his hand as a signal that he wants us to leave the place.  I stood straight and look at Lucas lying on the ground holding his stomach while succumbing to pain.

“Come!!” Brandon angrily screamed and invited me to leave. I wiped my tears and turn my back I started walking and still can’t believe that our relationship already ended.

As we cross the quiet road, He broke the silence and said, "I know you're not fine. You don't need to keep it within yourself. Feel free to cry." with a gentle voice. I pause and said, “Please, Let's just go to my car. I want to go home.” as if I were weak in speech and it seems I was lost in the trance. He calmly replied, “Okay.”

Brandon drove fast and brought me to my car. Nervously, he asked: “Are you sure you can drive home?” I smiled and held his hand, “yes, I can. Don’t worry. Thank you for driving.”

I started the engine and started driving.
