I came too while lying on the kitchen floor, my head in Taegan’s lap. My mind and my body felt sluggish, bogged down like it had been under a tremendous strain. “What happened?” I muttered, trying to sit up, but dropping back down with a groan, pressing my hands to my head with an extreme case of vertigo. “Easy, Rosie. You didn’t breathe like I told you to,” Taegan said in an accusing tone. He's leaning against the wall, legs sprawled out with me between them, looking lazy and comfortable, even though my head just slammed down against his upper thigh like an iron weight.
