Once the chaos in my home starts to mellow out, the adults all gather in my living room and dining room, getting settled for whatever the hell this is. I still don’t know why they’re all here, but the mayhem has died down at least. For the most part.
The vampire Beta left soon after I yelled to stop the onslaught of turmoil, excusing herself to visit Lady Delilah. Vincent is supposed to meet her in the city somewhere and Simone is on her way here with Reese and Karina.
