They all rushed into the hospital building and proceeded to the private ward in which she was kept. He could feel his heart pounding underneath his dress as they stopped before the doctor who was stepping out of the ward.
"Doc, can we all go in now?" Adrian asked nervously.
"Yes, Mr Adrian, but I'll like to speak with you about something important," the doctor said sadly.
"Um, okay, doctor, I'll see you in the office but I'll have to see her first," he said and the doctor nodded and walked away.
They all rushed into the ward and they walked slowly to the bed where they could see her lying with her eyes wearing a bandage.
His heart flinched on seeing the bandage around her eyes and he could see the confusion on Alex and Adrian's face as they both stopped beside the bed.
