"Hello... How did you get my number?" I ask, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"I have my ways. Plus, I'm part of your security detail now," he responds. Oh, right, my father had mentioned that. I don’t see why I need security. I'm back home and safe.
"So..." he hesitates. "Have you been to see the estate grounds?"
"Not yet," a smile forms on my lips, but I shake my head and press my lips together.
"I can show you around tomorrow if you want."
"That would be nice," I respond.
"Great. I'll come to fetch you."
"Good night."
