Nara I was given a new room with a queen-size bed, a closet, and a nice bathroom. It has Wi-Fi and air conditioning. No other major changes have happened in my life. I go to school as usual and spend time with Mya. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, I work at the diner. After class, I go straight to the kitchen to help start preparing lunch, but the cook says I'm not allowed to work there anymore and offers me a glass of milk. Odd. "I hate milk," I grumble, pushing it away. Since when has Mrs. Stanislaw been kind to me? "The former luna, Tina, said you should be given one every day," she informs me, grabbing my hand and smiling. I'm afraid her face might hurt from that smile. I didn't know how to react. Why would Tina do this? What if word spread? I'd be the center of more bullying
