Rafael's POV I drove home with the windows cracked, trying to clear the last of the council meeting out of my head. The rumor. The sweet-scent comment. Savannah’s little smile. None of it would shut up. By the time I turned into the driveway my jaw ached from clenching. The garage door went up. I pulled in, cut the engine, and stepped out. Iris was already there.
