Iris's POV Rafael didn’t stop kissing me as he carried me deeper into the trees. His mouth stayed hungry on mine, tongue sliding deep, nipping at my bottom lip like he couldn’t get enough. One hand gripped my ass under the bunched-up dress, fingers digging in hard enough to leave marks. The other supported my back, thumb stroking along my spine where the fabric dipped low. Every step jolted me against him. I barely noticed where we were going. The distant glow of the bonfire kept fading behind us, turning the woods darker, quieter. Just his scent, his heat, and the way my heart tried to beat out of my chest. I tried to pull back for air, he crash into my mouth again, growling low in his throat, and I melted right back into him.
