Iris's POV I stared at the bag in his hand. “Thanks,” My voice came out thinner than I wanted. “Where did you find it?” I asked taking it from his hand. "Near the south trail after the gathering," He shrugged. "I saw it half under some bushes. Figured someone would want it back.” I unzipped it right there on the sidewalk. My keys were still inside and my makeup pouch I had desperately needed that night. He was at the south trail, right by the lake. My stomach dropped so hard I felt it in my knees.
