After a long journey, the plane finally landed in Norway. As soon as Selena Patrick stepped out of the terminal, she shrank her neck from the cold.
Edward Maugham held her hand and led her toward the bus stop. His palm was dry and warm, and being held tightly by him brought both warmth and comfort. He was careful not to let her fall behind his pace. The wind was strong, so he simply pulled her close, shielding her from the cold.
On the bus, most of the passengers were tourists heading to see the Northern Lights. Everyone shared the same destination, and the bus was quite full. There was only one seat left. Edward Maugham had Selena Patrick sit down, while he stood beside her.
