Two days later, Gale Jonathan went to the airport to pick up Ian Maugham.
He had grown quite a bit.
His demeanor was serious, devoid of a child's innocence, and instead carried more coldness and aloofness.
"Mr. Maugham asked me to come and pick you up," Gale Jonathan opened the back door of the car.
He also put his luggage in the trunk.
Ian Maugham nodded slightly, "Thank you, Uncle Zuo."
"No need to be so formal."
"Uncle Zuo, how has my... how has my second uncle been these past few years?"
Gale Jonathan looked at the young but mature Ian Maugham and gently ruffled his hair, "With your aunt around, your second uncle is doing wonderfully."
"Is that woman still there?" Ian Maugham's face showed a hint of displeasure.
