"Call Luo Luo later and brief her about Tang Guo's situation. I find it inconvenient to do so myself," Edward Maugham instructed.
Gale Jonathan nodded in agreement, "Yes, Mr. Maugham."
After returning to the company, Gale Jonathan had the driver take Edward Maugham to the police station to handle the reporting of the incident. Before getting out of the car, he made a call to Selena Patrick, briefly explaining what happened with Tang Guo.
On the other end, there was a long silence, as if she was too shocked to speak.
"Mrs.?"
"Did you just say that Emily tried to frame Edward Maugham? A honey trap? And she was taken away by the police?" Selena Patrick thought she must have misheard.
